Yeongdeungpo yacht tour for sunset watching: Sailing Paradise

When summer is this hot, it feels like a shame to only go on indoor dates, right? You want an outdoor date, but it’s so hot you can’t even bring yourself to do it. So I found this tour because I wanted a special outdoor date! We took a Seoul Han River yacht tour with Sailing Paradise~ You can see the night view too, so it was great for a nighttime Han River date. It was such a fun thing to do for a Han River date—let me start my vivid, firsthand yacht-tour review.

Before I start the yacht-tour review, let’s take in the Han River night view first~~

Sailing Paradise location and what to prepare before arrival

The address is 252 Yeouidong-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, at Hangang Paradise in Yeouido Hangang Park. It is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, and you can use Yeouido Parking Lot No. 1 for a fee. I recommend arriving 10 minutes before your reserved time. You need to fill out a boarding consent form when you arrive, so get there early!

How to find Sailing Paradise

Once you arrive at Sailing Paradise, look to the left while facing the front and you will see the Top Yacht Korea sign. Go down the stairs and follow the arrow on the sign inside, and you will find the Sailing Paradise office further in. I wondered, “Is this the right place?” but as I lingered around, the owner opened the door and welcomed us.

Public and private yacht tours

You can choose a yacht according to the number of people, too. This is a place where the owner has yachts personally. Depending on the purpose of your yacht tour, private yacht tours are available for catering, proposals, fireworks, and more; if you simply want to try a yacht tour, you can also take the public yacht tour that I experienced.

We reserved the weekend 7 pm slot. The total yacht ride was 1 hour, and it was nice because we could see the sunset when we set off and the night view when we returned. The owner turned us toward a good spot for night views, so it was perfect for quietly zoning out over the sunset.

The owner showed us the way, so we were following along. Can you see that basket? They were carrying it to give everyone a glass of wine, haha.

The owner gave it to us to try, but we cannot drink wine, so we only took photos. It would be just right for watching the sunset with a glass of wine. Lots of people go to the Han River on dates to see the sunset, right? You can spend this kind of time from just ₩30,000, so if you are looking for an unusual date, keep it in mind when planning your date course. Your girlfriend will praise you for it, haha ꈍ◡ꈍ

As soon as the yacht set off, Namsan started to come into view. When another yacht passes, everyone waves hello to each other~ 👋 I gave a little wave too, haha.

The sunset was unfolding right in front of us. They also take photos to commemorate your yacht ride. The other people on board were taking photos too, so it was not embarrassing at all, and everyone diligently had their own photo time.

Strangely enough, everyone was busily taking photos and then started quietly zoning out over the sunset… The sun was so huge, and the shimmering light on the water sparkled so much!! I never thought I would see the sunset head-on like this in Seoul..! It was so quiet around us, with music playing only from our yacht, so it was pure romance. While on the yacht tour, I thought how amazing it would be to watch the September fireworks festival from a yacht..! Wouldn’t it be the best seat in the house? Haha.

When I recommend a Han River yacht tour

These days, lots of people go on unusual dates or indoor summer dates, but making special experiences and memories through a Han River yacht-tour date in Yeouido left me very satisfied. I had been to the Han River often, but it was my first yacht tour, and it was definitely an unusual date.
