Byway Bakers Balsan Station sits on Gangseo-ro 56ga-gil in Gangseo-gu, near NC Department Store, and its stylish sign catches your eye even from a distance. With so many apartment complexes nearby, I noticed people relaxing quietly at the outdoor tables enjoying their own tea time~

At the entrance, the business hours and closed days were clearly posted — the shop closes every Wednesday, so make sure to check before you visit!

As soon as I stepped inside, a lovely bread smell wafted past my nose, and I could see the staff continuously baking their bakery items on one side.

There was also a certification plaque for the butter they use displayed on one side of the shop, which really built up my trust in the ingredients. With the coffee aroma and freshly baked bread scent blending together so harmoniously, the whole space felt healing the entire time I was there~

What we ordered at Byway Bakers was an americano, a strawberry latte, and two kinds of financiers — salty and vanilla. I finally met the star of the show, the salty financier, and doesn't it already have an extraordinary look to it?

Made with natural butter and almond powder, it had that classic, properly-baked feel that got my mouth watering just by looking at it~
