Kid-friendly Yeonnam-dong pizza restaurant in Seoul: Sunny's Pizza

We were out and about in Yeonnam-dong trying to pick lunch with the kids when a cute sign caught my eye on the 2nd floor of the building next to Randy's Donuts. It was 3pm on a Sunday, so I was a little worried we'd hit a break time, but good news — they were open for lunch straight through (no break time on weekends)!

We ended up at a sunny window seat and had a really relaxing time, so let me tell you all about our visit to Sunny's Pizza Market~

What is Sunny's Pizza Market, a Blue Ribbon pick three years running, like inside?

There's a row of Blue Ribbon Survey stickers by the entrance, three years running from 2024 to 2026 — my trust level shot up before I'd even taken a bite~

The interior is done up in clean white tones with plenty of American-diner-style knickknacks scattered around, so it's actually fun just to look around.

Just seeing the stacks of pizza boxes gives you a sense of how many people come through here — and apparently there's a discount on takeout orders too, worth keeping in mind!

Window seats and picture books: how kid-friendly is Sunny's Pizza Market?

The first thing that caught my eye walking into Sunny's Pizza Market was the huge floor-to-ceiling window, flung wide open.

Sitting by the window gives you a full view down onto the Yeonnam-dong street, and the openness really is great~

The kids didn't get bored either, since they were busy people-watching out the window, which meant mom and dad got to enjoy a slightly more relaxed meal too.

The self-serve bar has pickles and dipping sauces neatly laid out, so you can just grab as much as you need.

There were even picture books set out for kids on one side, and I heard they also support Vision Store donations — little touches like that made me warm to the owner even more. That said, there's no high chair, so if you're visiting with a young child, it's worth checking that ahead of time~

L-size half-and-half with cheese crust for 34,200 won

Ordering is simple — each table has its own tablet for you to order from.

We went with an L-size half-and-half combining Sweet Hawaiian, which the kids love, and Sunny's Combination, perfect for adult tastes! Adding cheese crust on top brought the total to ₩34,200.

Look at the pizza when it finally arrived~ The toppings were piled on so generously that my mouth started watering the second I saw it.

How the house-made sauce and natural cheese taste

I heard they use house-made tomato sauce and natural cheese here, and you could definitely taste the difference in the cheese's flavor.

The cheese was so soft and stretchy that the kids said "Mom, the cheese is so good!" and ate way more than usual, which made me really happy. The Sweet Hawaiian especially was their top pick — the pineapple's sweetness paired perfectly with the cheese!

Sunny's Combination was loaded with salty ham and meat that made you crave a beer with every bite. The cheese went all the way to the edge of the crust, so even the last bite was delicious.
