Seoul yacht tour for a private family night out: Sailing Paradise
In short
Sailing Paradise is a Han River yacht tour operator in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. Our family had Humin alone for a 1-hour 7 pm cruise, with wine, children’s drinks, river breezes, and Seoul night views for 30,000 won per adult and 18,000 won per child. Verdict: a memorable way to make an ordinary family day feel special.

A Yeouido Han River yacht tour booked with the kids
Not long ago, we went out to the Han River, and the kids spotted yachts sparkling in the distance and said they wanted to ride one.
We had taken Han River cruise boats a few times, but a yacht? Honestly, I thought Han River yachts were something only rich people enjoyed, so I had never even looked into them. But when I searched, I found a place where you could go at a more reasonable price than I expected—and this capital-J mom on the march booked Sailing Paradise!

Sailing Paradise location and yacht types
For a special memory on the Han River, there is Sailing Paradise. It is inside Hangang Paradise at 252 Yeouidong-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. They operate a range of yachts for 10, 12, 30, and 50 passengers, and offer options for dates, family outings, proposals, bridal showers, and corporate events. You can reserve through Naver, and use Yeouido Hangang Park Parking Lot 1.
It is a Han River yacht-tour specialist departing from Yeouido Hangang Park—more specifically, near the 63 Building—and it was just right for making a different kind of memory in the middle of Seoul.

Sailing Paradise in Yeouido operates everything from 10-passenger power yachts and 12-passenger sailing yachts to 30- and 50-passenger luxury yachts, so it works not only for family outings like ours, but also dates, anniversaries, and corporate events.

Boarding Humin and having the yacht to ourselves
The yacht we boarded was Humin. The moment we stepped on, I felt happy for no reason. The owner even prepared wine, cheese, and drinks for the kids—those little touches were quietly moving. Our reservation was at 7 pm. I had wanted to see the sunset too, but the cloudy weather was a little disappointing. Still, I thought as long as it did not rain, we were good—and apparently our family has weather-fairy powers. We enjoyed the Han River properly, with cool breezes the entire ride.
We were lucky that only our family had booked that day, so it was completely private. The kids were excited even before boarding, while I was already busy thinking about photos. They carefully gave us safety instructions and guidance before we boarded, so it did not feel daunting to go with children. Even first-timers could enjoy it without difficulty.
Inside Humin were spacious table seats, and downstairs there were restrooms on both sides, a kitchen, and even a bed—if you cannot live in a Han River-view apartment, buying a yacht would not be a bad idea, right? But this yacht costs a whopping ₩300 million. And just the monthly Han River mooring and usage fees run ₩20–30 million. The rich really live on another level! With maintenance and management costs like that, getting to ride this yacht at such a reasonable price made us totally lucky.

A family outing on the Han River
Floating on the Han River made even the Seoul scenery we see all the time look completely different. With the cool river breeze, I put my phone down for a while and simply stared at Seoul while listening to the wind. We took pretty photos to keep as family memories, my husband—such a chatterbox—talked with the owner for ages, and the kids happily wandered around exploring the yacht. It was brief, but it really felt like a taste of the rich life :)

At 7 pm, when Seoul’s night lights came on
As evening came, Seoul’s night lights gradually switched on, and lights began turning on one by one on our yacht too. The kids kept saying, “Wow!” The 63 Building, Mapo Bridge, and the sparkling city lights—I could see why people look for a Han River yacht tour with Seoul night views. My husband and I shared a glass of wine and caught up on all sorts of things for the first time in a while.

A yacht for proposals and anniversaries too
What stayed with me most was a proposal happening on the yacht beside us. They had prepared a bouquet and balloons, and the atmosphere was truly like a movie. Honestly, I think it would be hard to say no to a proposal here.
Maybe that is why Sailing Paradise is popular as a date course too. You can use it for anniversaries, birthday parties, bridal showers, and family gatherings, and reservations are especially competitive during fireworks season. Fireworks tours cost a little more than regular tours, but they say they create a memory you will keep for life, so now I want to try one someday. Let’s work hard and make money!!!

A Han River day completed before the rain
If you have hesitated because you thought a yacht tour would be expensive, I recommend looking into it at least once! We made special time at a less burdensome price than expected. If you are looking for a Han River yacht tour with Seoul night views, Sailing Paradise seems like a very satisfying choice: a kind owner, a private atmosphere, and Seoul’s night skyline from the river.

The moment we got off the yacht after having fun, rain poured down as if it had been waiting for us. We finished with Han River ramyeon (instant noodles) at the dock. Even that felt like part of a perfect day. It became an unforgettable memory for the kids, and a precious, special time when my husband and I could relax for the first time in a while.

For a special day, of course, but also when you want to make an ordinary day special, I recommend trying a Han River yacht tour with Seoul night views. Next time, I want to book again on a day with a pretty sunset and make sure to enjoy the sunset slot too.
