My hair has gotten really frizzy lately, so I finally went and got a proper clinic done after a long while~! This time I visited Park Jun Beauty Lab Gangnam Branch, a hair salon in Gangnam. I had the Shiseido salon clinic done by Senior Deputy Director Yuni :)

Where is Park Jun Beauty Lab Gangnam Branch and how do you get there?
Park Jun Beauty Lab Gangnam Branch is at 14 Gangnam-daero 110-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea, on the 2nd floor, and it's open daily from 10:00 to 20:00. It's in a spot that's easy to reach from Gangnam Station, so getting there by public transit was convenient. Once you walk into the building and go up to the 2nd floor, the salon is right there, so it wasn't hard to find even on a first visit~!

As soon as I walked in they had welcome tea ready for me.

Inside Park Jun Beauty Lab: salon atmosphere and the hair consultation
Walking into Park Jun Beauty Lab Gangnam Branch, the whole space felt clean and calm. There were plenty of seats and everything was well arranged, so it was comfortable to get treated. Clinics like this take a bit of time, but the space didn't feel cramped at all, which I really liked haha. I sat down and first had my hair condition checked and went through a consultation. Senior Deputy Director Yuni looked over my current hair condition and explained which areas needed the most focused care.

They also prepared a drink for me. I had the honey green tea and it's fully recommended — first time trying it, and it was delicious.

What is the Shiseido salon clinic?
Before: my hair was frizzy from frequent dyeing. The clinic I decided to get this time was the Shiseido salon clinic. The Shiseido Sublimic salon solution isn't just a single treatment applied on top — it's a system that runs through multiple steps depending on the hair's condition. It removes metal ions and impurities built up inside the hair, fills the hair with the active ingredients it needs, then forms a protective layer on the surface. So basically it's a clinic that settles damaged hair while giving it a soft, glossy finish.

The 8 steps, from Off Clear to the blow-dry
Steps 1 and 2: Off Clear and Out CA
It started with Off Clear. This step clears away impurities and buildup on the hair's surface so the clinic ingredients can absorb well afterward. I liked that it started by cleaning the hair thoroughly first.
Next was the Out CA step. This process removes the metallic elements that make hair rough, leaving it clean. Apparently this kind of care matters especially for people who dye or perm often, or who use heat tools a lot.

Steps 3 and 4: Up-Tex and Deep Smooth
Next was the Up-Tex step! This injects a yellow substance to turn the hair softer. As the clinic went on, my hair kept feeling calmer and calmer haha.
Then in the Deep Smooth step, the cross-section of hair that's been deformed by damage gets corrected to restore a springy hair shape. Just like the name suggests, it was the step that smoothed and softened the hair.

Step 5: Infil
Next was the Infil step. This intensively delivers whatever repair ingredients are needed based on the hair's condition and concerns. Because it fills in ingredients focused on the damaged areas, I liked that it was tailored to my specific hair condition.

Steps 6 and 7: Wonder Shield and Mask
Then came the Wonder Shield step. Wonder Shield forms a hydrophobic protective layer on the hair's surface to shield it from external damage. If the earlier steps settled the inside of the hair and filled it with the ingredients it needed, this final step felt like it was protecting the outer surface. Since the protective layer is said to stay even after heat styling, this seemed like it would be great for anyone who uses a hair dryer or flat iron often.
Finally, they finished with a mask suited to my hair condition. Apparently with the Shiseido clinic, the mask can also be chosen based on hair type and level of damage. After the mask, my hair felt even more calm and settled :)

Step 8: Blow-dry
After finishing the whole clinic, they finished with a clean blow-dry. When I touched my hair at the end, it was noticeably softer than before the treatment, and it snagged much less when I ran my hands through it. In particular, my hair used to have that frizzy, flyaway feeling, but after the clinic it felt calm and settled overall haha.
How the hair felt afterward, and who the Shiseido clinic suits
Before the clinic my hair felt frizzy and dry, but after the treatment it definitely had a shine to it, which was satisfying~! Most of all, I liked that it wasn't just a slippery surface coating — the hair itself felt calm and settled from within.
If your hair has gotten badly damaged from perms or dyeing, or gone frizzy from using a dryer and flat iron often, this seems like a clinic worth trying at least once. This time I had the Shiseido salon clinic done by Senior Deputy Director Yuni at Park Jun Beauty Lab Gangnam Branch, and everything from the consultation to the process itself was handled so carefully that I could relax through it all :) Good hair really isn't something you fix once and forget — consistent care matters, haha. If you're looking into a hair clinic in Gangnam, the Shiseido salon clinic seems worth trying~!
