Today I'm introducing one of my true favorite restaurants!!! It's Salmon Brothers, a salmon spot in Gwangalli. If you know, you know, right?!!

What's on the menu at Salmon Brothers? Not just salmon

Besides salmon, Salmon Brothers proudly has beef tartare, flounder, and even pasta on the menu. Isn't the entrance so cute? These guys are serious about their salmon haha haha

It's known as a salmon spot, but honestly this is a pasta spot. I mean it, hahahahahaha

Inside the second-floor Gwangal-ro restaurant: seating and atmosphere

Salmon Brothers has bar seats too, and the seats are spacious. The atmosphere was better than I expected? I thought it'd be great for group visits too hahahaha

It's decorated so nicely with cute little props hahaha

Look at this — there was a tourist kid sitting here taking pictures and it was so, so cute ㅠㅠㅠ Seeing so many foreigners here confirms it's definitely popular, right? These days foreigners are even better at finding good restaurants!

There are photo zones all over the inside too, so it'd be nice to take some aesthetic shots when it's not crowded haha

Ordering by tablet at Salmon Brothers

Salmon Brothers uses tablet ordering. There are photos on the menu too, which is so nice haha The owner seems really considerate 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The sushi rice bowl, the must-order dish at Salmon Brothers

Our order arrived 😆 My pick is: definitely order the sushi rice bowl! Eating it this way feels more like you can customize it your own way compared to regular sushi!!! Hahahaha of course that's just my personal opinion,,,haha

Order the pasta spicy

This place is honestly a pasta spot. As a regular, let me tell you. You have to order this. And you have to ask for it spicy. You. Must.!!!!!!!!!! It's such a shame the photos can't capture it all.

But you guys!!!! This place seems to be able to do everything 🥹 It's genuinely a yuzu highball spot. All you lightweights, gather here!!!! The yuzu highball is!!! Seriously!!!! Delicious!!! Can you feel how loud this is even through text?!

It was genuinely delicious 🥹 I liked it so much here that I ordered a yuzu highball somewhere else to compare, and this place is truly the best!!!!! Isn't that bear-shaped ice so cute too?? The owner clearly has great taste 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

How to eat the sushi rice bowl

Dip the sushi rice bowl deep into soy sauce, pile on a big dab of wasabi and eat it sushi-style, or wrap it with plenty of sauce and gamtae (seasoned laver) — so good 🤤 You have to order the sushi rice bowl haha

Really, truly, this is a pasta spot. Let me say it again. Ask for it spicy. It's so delicious 🤤🤤

Does Salmon Brothers delivery taste the same?

Honestly this was my first real in-person visit to Salmon Brothers — I live nearby and have only ever ordered delivery. I moved back to my parents' place for a while and couldn't order it, and I missed this taste so much 🥹 I'm planning to move back, and when I do, I've already got my regular order reserved.

Cleaned the plate today too — it was so good 🤣 Eating it after a while made it taste even better. But even by delivery, you get the exact same taste, I mean it 🥹🥹

After paying, the owner gave us cute stickers and a palate-cleanser candy. Great taste all around 👏🏻👏🏻 If you like salmon, or if you live nearby and want pasta or salmon, definitely visit. Neighbors living around here, trust me and order delivery — I guarantee you won't be disappointed hahahaha
