Hanam Misa BBQ restaurant with a self-serve wrap bar: 4-cut pork set
In short
Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant on Misa-daero in Hanam, Gyeonggi, with a kids' playroom zone and private rooms. The writer came with a child and grilled the half-pig set of pork belly, pork neck, jowl meat and gabrisal, then took as much lettuce for wraps and banchan as wanted from the self-serve bar. Side dishes arrive as generously as a full Korean set meal, and with grilled fish and seokgalbi on the menu too, Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang is worth saving for a family gathering.

Family dining in Hanam Misa at Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang
Today I'm reviewing Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch, which I found while looking for somewhere for a family meal out in Hanam Misa — perfect for a family gathering! There are so many BBQ places in Hanam Misa these days, and when you're eating with a kid, you end up weighing the atmosphere and the play space and parking just as much as the taste.
Some Misa BBQ places pack tables in tight, but this one had roomier spacing, so it didn't feel cramped while eating and was comfortable for a family visit — a solid Misa Station spot!

How to reach the 3rd-floor restaurant
Which is exactly why this restaurant, with its playroom, made visiting with a kid so easy — worth saving as a family dining spot. This Misa BBQ place was quite spacious overall.
One tip if you visit: I'd recommend taking the elevator. On the 1st floor, the elevator by the Jurarium parking area takes you comfortably up to the 3rd floor!
Especially with a kid along, having somewhere for them to move around or play during the meal matters a lot, and with the kids' zone here, the kids played happily in the playroom while the parents ate in peace. Perfect for a holiday family gathering :)
What comes with the half-pig set: four cuts and set-meal banchan
We ordered the half-pig set with pork belly, pork neck, jowl meat and gabrisal! It gathers the most classic, popular, delicious cuts you'd want at a BBQ place, so it felt like great value.
When the table setting arrived, I was genuinely touched by how generous the spread of banchan (side dishes) was — acorn jelly cold soup, doenjang stew, green onion and jjolmyeon noodle salad, japchae, pickled onions, geotjeori (fresh kimchi), salad, assorted lettuce wraps, pickled chili, and mountain garlic leaves.

That's an impressive banchan lineup, right? With two kinds of soup and stew plus all sorts of Korean side dishes, it felt like being at a full Korean set-meal restaurant — a treat for the palate at this Misa Station BBQ spot!
Grilling the pork belly and pork neck first
We put the meat on the grill and started browning it up nicely — meat gets your appetite going the moment it hits the grill. We grilled pork belly and pork neck first. The pork belly, browned just right, released that savory fat and looked amazing.
The first bite of nicely browned pork belly had that classic savory pork belly flavor, and wrapping it in mountain garlic leaves, which I love, made it even better.

There's also a good variety of lettuce wraps, and piling the fresh greens here with garlic or the side dishes made for that familiar-yet-perfect combination!

Lettuce wraps and side dishes from the self-serve bar
There are moments while eating BBQ when you want more lettuce or side dishes, and Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch has a self-serve bar so you can take as much as you need.

You can also add on various sauces and sides like geotjeori, mountain garlic leaves, pickled gungchae, and braised mushrooms — there's no way to get bored at this Misa BBQ spot.

The doenjang stew that came with the meal was great to sip while it simmered — earthy and a perfect match with the pork belly, really boosting the appetite!

And the green onion salad isn't just a plain one — it comes with jjolmyeon noodles mixed in, so it's chewy with good bite, and alternating it with the pork belly meant I never got tired of eating!
Gabrisal and jowl meat: mixing cuts with different textures
Gabrisal had a totally different, appealing texture from the pork belly — chewy with a burst of juiciness — and alternating it with pork belly kept things from getting repetitive.

Personally, I think ordering a mix of textures — pork belly, gabrisal, jowl meat — rather than just one cut, and alternating between them, is the real way to enjoy pork properly!

And you can't skip the refreshing acorn jelly cold soup while eating meat — it cuts through nicely and makes the meal even better! Whoever you bring, everyone's taste should be covered.
The king oyster mushrooms, grilled just right, also burst with juice as good as the meat itself, doubling the happiness~
Why it works with parents: grilled fish and seokgalbi
One more plus — it's also a great place to bring your parents, because they have grilled fish! We tried the grilled mackerel, and it was really savory and delicious, perfect if you're dining with parents. If you're craving meat at lunchtime, this also works as a Misa lunch spot, and since they have seokgalbi too, it's a place in Hanam Misa where everyone in the family can eat comfortably no matter their preference!

Beyond lettuce wraps, you can also enjoy various banchan like geotjeori, pickled onions, and baek-kimchi — a well-rounded way to try every cut at this Misa Station BBQ spot!
Kids' playroom and private rooms: the family gathering verdict
What I liked most about this visit to Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch was, of course, the kids' playroom zone~ Family meals out can go sideways if a kid gets bored — you can't relax and end up watching them the whole time — but having a play space took a lot of that pressure off.
The kids ate and then played happily in the kids' zone while the parents ate at ease, making it an ideal Hanam spot for a family gathering. Beyond family meals, the space also looked good for company dinners or group gatherings, and the private rooms are well set up for a more private meal — if you're weighing the facilities among Hanam Misa Station BBQ places, definitely give Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang a try!
