🍂 Cool autumn is coming so the urge to tone down my hair color is creeping up on me... I know I'm not the only one. Here's my review of the full dye I got at Oreudeubi, the Sindang Station hair salon I visited this time — I was really happy with it!

Where is Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch, and what are its hours?

Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch is located at 410 Wangsimni-ro, Centras Commercial Bldg. i-dong, 1st Floor, Unit 118, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea, and it's open daily from 10:30 to 22:00 (days off vary by designer). Parking is free for 2 hours — search for 'Centras Sangga Parking i-dong,' then head to the lot right next to Wangsimni Church parking.

If you're 5–6 minutes on foot from Sindang Station exit 2 and see a building like the Centras commercial building in the photo, you've found the right place!

Go into the building, down a half-flight of stairs, walk a bit down the corridor to the right, and it's on your left :)

I came by reservation and arrived a bit early, so I sat and waited in the waiting seats.

Length surcharges, VIP membership and the dye brands used

While waiting I took a peek at the price list... it's worth checking that dye/perm services (not cuts) come with separate length surcharges: jawline +₩10,000, shoulder +₩20,000, chest +₩40,000, waist +₩60,000.

At Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch, the Sindang Station hair salon, they say they only use verified products like Ayounche, Milbon, and L'Oréal, so you can protect both hair health and shine at the same time!

With VIP membership, depending on the amount spent you can get added hair clinic service, discounts on perms/dyes/clinics/cuts, and extra credit accumulation — if you get your hair done regularly, membership seems worth it!

Before actually starting the dye, you fill out a questionnaire about the look you want, hair concerns, scalp concerns, points to be careful of, recent treatments, and so on.

It's been about a month since I dyed my hair, and that orange tint just can't seem to help itself — it slowly started coming up again ㅠㅠ It also felt like the brightness lightened quickly, so I decided to do an autumn tone-down :)

The consultation: level 4 ash brown with a touch of violet

After consulting with designer Youngjun at Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch, we decided to do a full tone-down dye close to level 4 ash brown with a touch of violet mixed in! If I go full ash, I don't like the yellow tint that shows once it fades... but if I go full violet, it fades reddish later... such a dilemma...

Designer Youngjun was calm, kind, and really good at consulting 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

They prepared snacks and iced coffee so I wouldn't get bored during the dye process!

They first put a shield on my forehead so the dye wouldn't get on it, then applied the dye very carefully and meticulously! At many other salons it's often the assistants who apply the dye, but I liked that at Oreudeubi, the Sindang Station salon, the designer personally handles everything one-on-one from start to finish!

Applied thoroughly, right~? My scalp didn't sting or anything!

After the dye, I moved to the shampoo room to rinse my hair and — oh my... you get your shampoo lying in a massage chair!!!! Pure paradise. After the shampoo, they finished with a pack plus scalp massage and acupressure that felt amazing — their hands were so skilled too 👍🏻

A successful tone-down dye! Not a single patch, clean and even. In the photos it looks almost black since it's the first day, but it'll gradually settle into a natural brown over time!

I really love how the brown glows subtly in the sunlight! I feel like tone-down dye is really what gives you that autumn mood... 😌
