Wangsimni dessert café date: three madeleines upstairs at Eojil In

Since the semester started in September, my boyfriend's been super busy (thanks to that, I've been going to Hanyang University a lot lately too 🤭💕). Last time, after his class ended, we went to a café near Wangsimni Station~!! It's Eojil In, a café pretty much every Hanyang University student knows!! We went here, and they have all kinds of delicious desserts — madeleines, Basque cheesecake, financiers and more — plus a space with a really nice atmosphere, so it's popular 🌸 Let me give you the full review right away ☺️🌸

Eojil In is right there when you come out of Exit 6 at Wangsimni Station, so it's super easy to find~!! It's so close to the station that my boyfriend often goes there with friends too~! Come to think of it, I realized I'd actually been here once before too haha 🤭

I loved the warm, cozy interior 💕💕 Even the little props are all wooden and full of atmosphere!

What desserts does Eojil In sell? Madeleines, financiers and Basque cheesecake

Eojil In is famous not just for its atmosphere but also as a dessert spot~!!🌸 They have every kind of madeleine and financier, plus Basque cheesecake and more~! ✔️They even have dessert gift boxes, great for packing up as a present~!!☺️

As a dessert lover, I completely lost my mind >< egg tarts, Earl Grey madeleines, chocolate madeleines, vanilla madeleines and more — the variety is huge~!

First and second floor seating at Eojil In, from solo work to groups

Eojil In has a 1st and 2nd floor, so there are plenty of seats and it feels spacious~!!💕 There were people working alone, groups, and people on dates like us~!!

There are cushy sofa seats too~!!💕 On the 1st floor, there are these seats with a full window view, which felt so open and nice!

✔️The Basque cheesecake is Eojil In's signature menu item, sold both by the slice and as a whole cake! My boyfriend and I ordered our desserts and coffee properly and waited...🤭

There were even books on the 1st floor like this!💕

There were no seats on the 1st floor, so we went up to the 2nd~! Even the stairs have a certain vibe, don't they~?😆 Eojil In is definitely going to become one of my favorite cafés from now on...💖

What we ordered at Eojil In, and how the three madeleines tasted

This is what we ordered~!!💖 We really went all out haha 🤭

The madeleines were moist and delicious, and the chocolate coating on the outside of the Earl Grey and chocolate madeleines was really tasty 🩷🩷 The Earl Grey madeleine seemed to be coated in white chocolate~!!😍

The coffee was made from beans they roast themselves, so it had a nutty, delicious flavor 🩷 It went really well with the desserts too ><

Taking leftovers home: Eojil In madeleines were still moist the next day

We ordered so much dessert that some was left over, so they boxed it up for us like this😍 The madeleines were still delicious even eaten at home the next day! This café, Eojil In, is right by Wangsimni Station, has delicious desserts and coffee, and a cozy space, so it was just perfect to visit💕 I'm planning to come back often from now on😆💖 (Following my boyfriend around, I've basically become an honorary Hanyang University student even though I go to Sookmyung Women's University... hahaha 🤭💖)
