I visited Beautae Esthetic, a skin care salon in Jongno near Jonggak, Gwanghwamun, and City Hall :) It's a place even announcers go to, so I tried the Exosome sensitive-skin treatment for my skin, which had gotten sensitive with the change of seasons.

It's on the 6th floor of a building along the Cheonggyecheon stream line, with a Texas bar in it, so it wasn't hard to find at all.
Inside Beautae Esthetic: private one-person treatment rooms
The inside of Beautae Esthetic has a cozy yet clean vibe! Each guest gets an independent single treatment room, so I could relax comfortably during the care ✨
There was even an announcer's autograph displayed on one wall, which was fun to look at haha
Before the treatment, we had a short consultation about my current skin condition and concerns. Since it's currently the change of seasons and my skin has been drier and more sensitive than usual, we decided after the consultation that I'd get the multi-booster treatment.

What is the Exosome Blue and water-drop ultrasound treatment?
For the multi-booster treatment at Beautae Esthetic, you can choose between Rejuran and Exosome depending on your skin condition. Since my concern was redness and sensitized skin, I chose the Exosome treatment :)
Exosome also comes in different types depending on your skin concern — during the consultation, I was told Blue is recommended for skin that needs deep hydration, while Black is for acne-prone skin. Since dryness is usually my issue, I went with Exosome Blue!
5ml was thoroughly applied to my skin, followed by the water-drop ultrasound treatment. The esthetician gently pressed over my skin, and there was almost no irritating sensation, so it felt comfortable even on a sensitive day — and as the treatment went on, my skin felt increasingly moist, which I loved haha

EMS vibration regeneration care: how it felt
Next came the treatment using EMS vibration. It's a process where fine vibrations help apply ampoule thoroughly onto the skin — you only feel a gentle vibration, so it was easy and comfortable to receive :)
From Exosome to water-drop ultrasound to EMS, the steps flowed one after another, and I felt like I'd really gotten proper sensitive seasonal skin care. The treatment wrapped up with a finishing mask ✨

Final verdict: why I chose the Exosome facial over contour care
Honestly, I originally visited planning to get a face-contouring treatment lol. But after talking to the esthetician about my recent skin concerns, we switched to the Exosome skin care treatment instead — and it turned out I was super satisfied..!
Comparing before and after, my skin looked moist right after the treatment, and personally, I felt my complexion looked noticeably brighter too ✨
What I especially liked was the attention to small details! The changing room had dry shampoo available, so there was no worry about ampoule or lotion getting stuck in my hair after the treatment, and they even sent me home with a mask pack to use for at-home care :)
It's close to Gwanghwamun Station and also easy to reach from Jonggak and City Hall, making it a great spot for anyone looking for a Jongno skin care salon. I was struggling with dry, sensitized seasonal-change skin, and I left satisfied — this is a salon I plan to revisit soon :)
