Bundang hair salon hair treatment before a perm: Yeum Hair

Today I'm bringing you my review of getting a perm and a clinic treatment at Yeum Hair Bundang Jeongja Branch, a hair salon near Jeongja Station haha. My hair's been at that awkward long stage lately with damaged-looking ends, so I went in partly just to change things up!

The salon that hands you a robe straight from the styler

One thing I really loved about Yeum Hair Bundang Jeongja Branch was that they have a proper styler unit! Great for storing outerwear, and they pull your robe out of it too, so it feels really hygienic — I loved this little detail haha.

The interior overall felt clean and stylish, so I was in a good mood the whole time I was there!

Consultation and cut: trimming the ends before the perm

First I sat down and we calmly talked through what style to go for.

My ends were pretty messy and my layers were in an awkward spot, so we decided to cut and trim a bit first before moving on to the perm. When I told her what look I wanted, she looked at the state of my hair and recommended a suitable style, which made me trust her even more! ☺️

🌿 The nutrient hair treatment before the perm, 100,000 won per session

Since perms can damage hair, I also got a clinic treatment beforehand. She explained it as a process that fills nutrients back into the hair, and I could really tell she was being careful and thorough with it. It costs ₩100,000 per session.

They also gave me a drink and a snack while my hair was being done — the cookie was surprisingly good, so I enjoyed it happily haha.

The hair-washing area was kept spotless too, and there was even a massage chair, so I could really relax. You have to sit for a long time, and getting a massage while you rest really helped with the fatigue — I loved having that 🤎

While the perm was processing, they had magazines and books ready to read, and when she noticed I was reading, she even brought me a book stand so I could read comfortably 👍 Little touches like this meant I got through the time comfortably without ever getting bored ☺️

How the perm turned out and how long it took

The finished result turned out exactly the look I wanted, so I was really satisfied 👍 The whole thing took about two and a half hours, and it was nice being able to relax through it comfortably!

Looking in the mirror, I could definitely tell my style had changed haha.

Overall the pricing wasn't expensive, more like a reasonable, everyday kind of range I'd say!

The staff at the salon were kind and the interior was so clean that I could get cared for comfortably. Designer Moa in particular looked at the state of my hair and gave professional style recommendations, so I could trust her with it, and thanks to thoughtful details like the styler and massage chair, time flew by and I had a relaxing visit 😊
