Not long ago, we visited Shinsegae Busan Premium Outlets, and after looking around at this and that, it was suddenly dinner time. Our child said they were hungry, and we were tired from all the walking too, so we decided to have dinner right inside the outlet instead of going somewhere else haha.
The place we visited that day was Bueokgan Restaurant, Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets. We ordered shrimp rosé pasta and two pizzas: basil margherita and arugula prosciutto.
To give you the conclusion first, the arugula prosciutto pizza was my favorite, while our child absolutely loved the shrimp rosé pasta haha. I was worried there might be a wait since it was dinner time, but we were able to walk straight in and eat without waiting that day.

Dinner at Bueokgan after outlet shopping
After walking around Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets for quite a while, we went in for dinner. When you shop with a child, it is tiring to head somewhere else just to eat, so it was convenient that we could take care of dinner right inside the outlet.

Bueokgan offers various food options, including restaurant and Chinese menus, but we visited Bueokgan Restaurant, which specializes in Western-style food.
Is parking available at Bueokgan Restaurant, Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets?
Since it is inside the outlet, you can use the outlet parking lot. It is free as well, which made it easy to use without any burden.

We visited on a Sunday evening, but there was no separate wait and we went straight in. I thought we might have to wait a little because of the time, so I think we were lucky to get a table right away.
I really liked the antique, old-world feel of the interior.

The space had a strong European feel overall, and the lighting and furniture looked thoughtfully chosen. It was tidy and atmospheric, so I think it would be nice for a date too.
One pasta and two pizzas

After looking over the menu, we decided on one pasta and two pizzas that day.
- Shrimp rosé pasta (₩20,000)
- Basil margherita pizza (₩19,000)
- Arugula prosciutto pizza (₩22,000)

Once all the food arrived, the table looked quite abundant! We had more or less decided on the rosé pasta from the start because of our child, and we ordered two pizzas with different styles. Switching between them definitely kept us from getting tired of the flavors. The prosciutto one was more my taste.
Shrimp rosé pasta that our child really enjoyed

First up is the shrimp rosé pasta. It was full of large shrimp. We chose a non-spicy menu with our child in mind, but they ate it much better than expected lol.

Whenever we visit somewhere with our child, I always end up wondering whether there will be something for them to eat rather than focusing on the adults' food. They ate the rosé pasta so well that we could enjoy our meal comfortably lol.

The shrimp were quite large, so when you picked one up with the pasta, you could really taste the shrimp filling your mouth.

It was a really delicious rosé pasta, with rich tomato flavor and creaminess together. It had plenty of mushrooms, onions, and garlic, giving it a very nice savory depth. If I were looking for pasta in Gijang with a child again, I think I would come back and choose the rosé pasta.
The arugula prosciutto pizza was the best dish that day

Of everything we ate at Bueokgan Restaurant, the arugula prosciutto pizza was the best dish of the day.

It was generously topped with arugula and prosciutto, so it felt distinctly different from the margherita from the very first look. As we ate, this was the pizza I kept reaching for the most lol. If you are looking for good pizza in Gijang, this is the arugula prosciutto pizza I would want to try again first at Bueokgan.

It was even more delicious with hot sauce, which added a spicy, tangy kick haha. The arugula was fresh, so you could really enjoy its crisp texture.
The basil margherita pizza we tried alongside it

The other one was the basil margherita pizza. It was a classic pizza with plenty of basil sauce on top.

Set next to the prosciutto pizza, the two pizzas felt very different. This one had a clean flavor, with just cheese and basil sauce added to the dough.

It was mild, and I liked that the cheese flavor came through more clearly.

Interestingly, it came with green hot sauce. It was a flavor I had never tried before; it tasted like green chili peppers and was different from ordinary hot sauce. We alternated between the two flavors lol.
Bueokgan for a family dinner while shopping
This was Bueokgan Restaurant, where we stopped to take care of dinner while shopping at Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets. Even though it was dinner time on the day we visited, we could eat right away without waiting, and the variety of pizzas and pastas made it easy to choose with a child.
Our child was happiest with the shrimp rosé pasta, while I was most satisfied with the arugula prosciutto pizza. If you are shopping at Busan Premium Outlets and looking for a good Western-style restaurant in Busan, or a good Gijang Western-style restaurant for a family visit, keep Bueokgan in mind!
