Today I'm bringing you a review of a hair salon I visited in Jeonju not long ago. I'd been stressing out over how frizzy my hair got over the summer, and this time I finally got a proper style transformation — writing this post with a very satisfied heart!

Bailey Hair Label Hyoja branch is located right in front of the SK Leaders View apartments in Hyoja-dong, Jeonju. Hours are daily 10am–8pm (each designer has their own day off, so check ahead before you go!). The location is really convenient whether you come by public transport or car.

Stepping inside, the interior was really clean and had great vibe. The staff greeted me with bright smiles right from the entrance, so I felt good from the moment I walked in. Everything was kept spotless overall, so I could relax and trust them with my hair!

When I told them my biggest concern was thick hair with badly damaged ends that made it look frizzy, they recommended a clean yet natural volume magic straightening + C-curl perm!

Designer Sekyung was the one who did my treatment. I loved that she explained every step carefully from start to finish! Honestly, what I originally wanted was a chu layered cut — I wanted to keep my long hair, but since the ends were already so damaged, she said continuing on like that would mean the perm wouldn't even take. Sadly, I had to let that length go.

The designer and staff were so kind throughout the process that there wasn't a dull moment. They applied the solution carefully according to my hair's condition, and checked in often to make sure I was comfortable — it really touched me.

After the volume magic straightening, the top of my hair was neatly settled! I never used to have any curl when I was younger, but as I've gotten older some natural curl has shown up~

What the scalp massage at the shampoo station was like

When they shampooed my hair at Bailey Hair Label Hyoja, the hand pressure was really good and they gave a satisfying scalp massage into every corner. It felt like all the fatigue that had built up got released at once — my head felt completely clear afterward! The shampoo room had such a cozy vibe too, so I got a proper little moment of healing.

My hair, which used to be heavy and frizzy, became so much lighter and calmer. The top is neatly settled by the straightening and the bottom has a tidy C-curl, so styling is way easier now.

The designer also kindly showed me how to do home care and styling on my own!

• When drying: shake and dry, then lift your hair and hold it with your fingers, drying it like a palm tree
• Treatment tip: after shampooing, focus on adding moisture mainly to the ends

Just following what she told me cut my morning drying time by more than half, making getting ready for work so much easier! Drying time dropped by more than half compared to before, and it feels lighter too, which I love~
