Handam Guksu Gwakji Aewol Branch is a pork noodle restaurant in Aewol, Jeju, right next to Landy's Donuts on the Handam coastal path. The sagol gogi guksu (beef bone broth pork noodles), dongchimi bibim guksu (radish water kimchi mixed noodles), and dombe cold pork all impressed, with turmeric-infused thin noodles instead of the usual thick noodles and perfectly seasoned bone broth — the best pork noodles this writer has had in a while. With ocean-view seats at every table and prices around ₩10,000, it's a welcome break from pricey tourist-area food.

Juju Norae Town is a karaoke bar (norae-jubang) on the 4th floor of a building in the Bupyeong-dong pork feet (jokbal) alley in Nampo-dong, Busan. Two friends went for round two after steamed clams, taking a huge room with seasonal fruit, hot ramyeon, and unlimited refills of the basic side dishes. Tablet ordering and great sound made this a fun round-two spot in Nampo-dong even for just two people.
