Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye Branch: location and prices
Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch is located at 305, 3F G&G Plaza, 45 Wiryegwangjang-ro, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and it's within walking distance from Exit 3 of Namwirye Station. If you're driving, you can use the building parking lot, so accessibility is pretty decent. The listings I found also say parking is available.
The hours listed are daily 11:00–21:30, with a weekday break time from 16:00 to 17:00. The dining time limit is 120 minutes, and the adult beef buffet is ₩17,900 for weekday lunch, ₩21,900 for weekday dinner and holidays. Since you get beef plus a bunch of vegetables and wolnamssam (Vietnamese-style rice paper wraps) all together, it felt like a solid amount of food for the price.

Right after parking and getting up to the 3rd floor, there was a ping pong battle going on, so I was briefly confused like 'wait, is this the wrong place?' haha — but then I spotted Dadam Shabu Shabu tucked further inside.

Inside Dadam Shabu Shabu: roomy floor, well-spaced tables
Walking into Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye Branch, it was more spacious and pleasant than I expected! Overall the space is roomy and the tables are spaced out well, so even with other diners nearby it never felt loud or crowded.
Shabu-shabu especially tends to be a group meal — families or a bunch of friends together — so with all that space, this place would work well for a family outing or a gathering spot :)

Prices are ₩21,900 for adult dinner, discounted to ₩17,900 for lunch — both beef all-you-can-eat.

Seafood broth and spicy broth, half-and-half at no extra charge
There are 3 broth flavors, and we went with seafood and spicy broth split half-and-half, no extra charge!

What's on the self-bar, from minari to five kinds of mushrooms
The most important thing at a shabu-shabu place is ingredient variety! On that front, Dadam Shabu Shabu was really my style. The overall look was clean, so hygiene seemed well managed, and above all, the ingredients were genuinely varied.

These days at a lot of shabu-shabu places, the broths and sauces are varied but there are only a handful of actual vegetables to throw in, which can be a letdown. Dadam Shabu Shabu had a really wide range of vegetables! And they even had minari (water dropwort), which I love and rarely see at other shabu-shabu spots — so happy about that haha.

And I really love mushrooms! The mushroom variety was genuinely impressive too. Shiitake, oyster, pine, enoki, and white wood ear mushrooms — so many kinds that I think I ate more mushrooms than meat haha. Mushroom lovers would be genuinely satisfied here! They also had tofu skin, fish balls, and meatballs, which I always add to mala tang — so nice to see them here too haha.

Not just the shabu-shabu ingredients — the vegetables for wolnamssam were also plentiful and fresh, and I really enjoyed them.

For sauces, they had soy sauce, chili sauce, peanut sauce, and minced cheongyang chili prepared, so you can pick whatever suits your taste.

The beef: chuck roll and usamgyeop
For meat, they had beef neck and usamgyeop (beef pork belly-cut) ready, and we mostly focused on the usamgyeop — the quality was better than I expected!

Ice cream and coffee to finish
And to finish, there was ice cream and coffee ready for dessert. No need to head to a café separately after shabu-shabu — dessert was covered right there, which was great.

Cooking the shabu-shabu and rolling 10 wolnamssam wraps
Once everyone gathered at the table with their own picks of ingredients, the real shabu-shabu feast began haha.

Vegetables in first, then the meat goes in!

Eating the meat together with all the different vegetables in the bubbling broth made it feel less greasy and the texture was great. Seriously, having so many vegetables made everything better 🥬 I also had my fill of tofu-skin fish balls haha — since I always add that to mala tang, finding it here too was an extra nice surprise.

I think we made about 10 wolnamssam wraps haha. Stuffing them full of vegetables and even pineapple made them especially delicious!

When things start to feel a bit greasy midway through, a bite of ice cream resets you so you can keep going haha. Eating and eating like that, before I knew it I was completely full.

We ate so well, and on the way out I noticed they also sell shabu-shabu ingredients to take home! It's hard to buy every shabu-shabu ingredient separately, so grabbing a packed set like this to eat at home isn't a bad idea at all haha.
Is Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye Branch worth it?
- Spacious and comfortable interior
- Overall clean and tidy feel
- Wide variety of shabu-shabu ingredients
- Diverse vegetables, from minari to mushrooms
- All-you-can-eat wolnamssam too
- All-you-can-eat beef

There are plenty of well-known shabu-shabu brands out there and I've tried a lot of them, but personally this place stood out for being clean and having such varied ingredients. I especially like eating more vegetables and mushrooms than meat at shabu-shabu, so this place suited me particularly well.
If you're looking for Wirye shabu-shabu or a clean, ingredient-rich restaurant near Namwirye, I'd recommend Dadam Shabu Shabu 🥬🥩 Next time I go, I think I'll work through the ingredients I didn't get to try this time haha.
