After a walk through Dosan Park, I went looking for a café nearby for coffee, and ended up finding a brunch spot where I could also have a proper meal. With its European vibe and terrace, it seemed like a great spot for a date or a blind date too. Here's my honest review of the galette and onion soup I tried at Le Bon Goûter.
Where is Le Bon Goûter, and what about parking, corkage and pets?

Le Bon Goûter sits between Apgujeong Station and Apgujeong Rodeo Station, so it was easy to reach from either direction. If you're driving, valet parking is available — just use the valet booth in the alley near Sinsa-dong Barum Kindergarten.

Corkage is also available, so it looked like a good option for wedding invitation gatherings or group meet-ups where you'd want to bring your own drink to pair with the pasta or brunch dishes. Since it's pet-friendly too, it seemed like a nice place to stop for coffee with your dog after a walk in Dosan Park on a nice day.
What the exterior and interior of Le Bon Goûter look like

Le Bon Goûter greets you with a beautifully styled terrace right from the entrance. The exterior is full of European French charm, so even in the middle of Apgujeong it felt like a brief trip to France.

Inside, soft lighting and tastefully styled tables make it well suited for anyone looking for a date or blind date spot. It also seemed like a good place for a relaxed brunch with kids, or as a venue for a wedding invitation gathering.

Full venue rental is also available, so if you're planning a larger gathering or event, it might be worth inquiring.

There's terrace seating as well, and on a nice day it looked like a great spot to watch the world go by while enjoying coffee or a beer with your brunch.
How the smoked salmon galette and French onion soup tasted

Le Bon Goûter's menu ranges from brunch dishes like steak and lasagna to salads, galettes, soups, pastas, and desserts. Along with coffee, they also serve beer, wine, and champagne, making it easy to pair a drink with your meal to taste.

Smoked salmon galette, ₩23,000. Since Le Bon Goûter is known for its galettes, I ordered their popular smoked salmon galette. Made with buckwheat, it had a cleaner, more delicate flavor than a regular flour crust — the thinly cooked edges were slightly crisp while the inside stayed soft.

It came with a generous variety of vegetables on the side — salad, carrot rapée, red onion, caper berries, and arugula — all of them fresh.

I tried the smoked salmon topped with sour cream and olives — the salty, savory salmon combined with the freshness of the sour cream so it never felt heavy, and the caper berries and red onion in between kept the palate clean.

French onion soup, ₩11,000. I ordered this because it reminded me of the delicious onion soup I had while traveling in France. It comes out in a piping hot bowl, so it's best not to touch the bowl itself.

Cheese is piled generously on top, so when you lift a spoonful, it stretches into long strings. You could taste the gentle sweetness and deep flavor of the long-cooked onions, and with the salty cheese added in, it made for a great sweet-and-salty combination.

Iced americano, ₩6,000. The iced americano wasn't too acidic and had a nutty flavor — exactly my taste.
