Seongsu café with soft serve filled to the core, four for two: Mellows
In short
Mellows is a coffee and soft serve café in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, a 3-minute walk from Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station. Two of us sat at the outdoor tables and finished four cups — milk, strawberry and mango soft serve made with Sangha Farm organic milk, plus an affogato. Every cup at Mellows was packed solid to the center over a layer of granola, and the plain milk flavor is the one to order first.

My partner and I went over to Seongsu and stopped by Mellows, a Seongsu dessert spot known for soft serve made with Sangha Farm milk, haha. I'm honestly not that big an ice cream person, but the moment someone says "Sangha Farm," the story changes completely, lol.
My partner already loves ice cream so I pretended to be all "sure, order whatever you want~" but... honestly I was the most excited person here the second I heard "Sangha Farm," lol lol. In the end we started off ordering three: plain, strawberry, and mango, haha.
Where Mellows is and when it opens: 3 minutes from Ttukseom Station

Mellows is on the 1st floor of 7 Wangsimni-ro 10-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It's about a 3-minute walk from Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station, a good location whether you're specifically hunting for a café near Ttukseom Station or just wandering around after Seoul Forest.
- Monday 07:00 - 20:00
- Tue-Fri 07:00 - 1:00 the next day
- Saturday 11:00 - 1:00 the next day
- Closed Sundays
There's no parking on-site so it's easier to visit by public transit than by car. It wasn't hard to find either, since "Mellowz" is written big on the red brick building.

Red brick exterior and outdoor tables at Mellows
I liked the exterior right away, haha. There were outdoor tables set up in front of the red brick building, and there were also seats inside where you could sit and eat.

The interior was cozy overall, and the area around the counter was kept neat and tidy, so it felt like a low-pressure spot to just grab a coffee or ice cream, haha. The weather was so nice that day that my partner and I sat outside — it happened to be one of those perfect breezy fall days, haha.
Sitting outside eating sweet ice cream just makes you feel relaxed and puts you in a good mood, haha. The outdoor seat was truly a stroke of genius that day. It seems like a great stop for dessert after Seoul Forest, and on a nice day, eating outside like this would be lovely too. It'd also be perfect for a date at Seoul Forest with something sweet to follow.
The owner was super friendly right from when we ordered, so even as first-time visitors we could order comfortably, haha.
Mellows menu and prices

Mellows lets you enjoy coffee and soft serve together. But somehow I lost my mind while photographing the menu board... and this is how it turned out. Hah. Let me just write it out clearly here, haha!

(My partner's hand, cooperating fully to eat faster... lol lol.) What we picked was milk + strawberry + mango. Yes. Three for two people, lol lol. My partner does love ice cream so that's part of the reason we ordered so much... but honestly, the second I heard "Sangha Farm" I gave permission with a lot of selfish motive, haha haha.
If you're going with several people, it might be nice to order one basic and one fruit flavor like strawberry or mango and share, haha.
The milk soft serve: how strong is the Sangha Farm milk flavor?

First up, the milk soft serve! I'm a fan of that distinct rich milk flavor Sangha Farm ice cream has, and this one nailed it — a proper deep milk taste!!! Since it's made with Sangha Farm organic milk, the milk flavor was rich, and instead of fading away lightly, it lingered heavily.
And there's granola at the bottom of the ice cream, so eating them together gives you a nutty-sweet combo, haha (my partner said it felt like some fancy cereal, lol lol).

Hate hollow soft serve? Mellows fills every cup to the core
There was one more thing I really liked about Mellows... with soft serve, the outside always looks full, but the moment you take a scoop, sometimes there's a gaping empty hole in the middle.... (that's genuinely so disappointing, ugh). But can you see this...???

Mellows' ice cream is packed solid all the way through!!!! That kind of attention from the owner?? I love it so much, haha haha. Getting Sangha Farm milk soft serve filled this generously in Seongsu felt pretty great to me. (Honestly I want to come back every time I'm in Seongsu...)

Strawberry and mango: how the fruit flavors work with milk
Strawberry + milk ice cream — need I say more? Deep milk flavor plus that distinct fresh tartness of strawberry! It was refreshing and easy to eat, haha.

If you like Sangha Farm ice cream and you like strawberries too, I'd just order it, lol.

My partner's pick, mango! Genuinely so sweet. Rich milk-flavored ice cream paired with mango turned out to be such a great match. This little guy — tasty as heck!!

My partner kept saying "the mango is so good" over and over while eating, lol lol.
Three cups of soft serve, and then the affogato

Normally you'd stop here, right...? But as we kept eating I thought, "the affogato is probably good too..." and caught myself heading up to order more, haha haha. Yes, that's how we ended up with four ice creams... lol lol. You might say four ice creams for two people is a bit much? You're right. It was a bit much, lol lol.
But what am I supposed to do when the affogato is delicious too, ugh. The rich, nutty milk ice cream and the bitter espresso went so well together. Bottom line, we really enjoyed it, haha haha. This is exactly... the power of being an adult!!!! Ordering all four ice creams you want, lol lol lol.
How Mellows changes after 8pm
From 8pm, Mellows switches to offering a cocktail menu! Apparently from that time on, some ice cream flavors with fruit like strawberry or mango become hard to order, so if fruit ice cream is your goal, it's probably better to visit a bit earlier.

The cocktail menu had more variety than I expected, haha. Going for ice cream during the day and having a completely different vibe at night — that seems to be the deal here.
And here's another surprising thing! Do you remember Two Months, the duo from Superstar K? From what I was told during my visit, one of the members apparently makes cocktails here in the evenings. I used to be a fan of Two Months back during Superstar K, lol. Never expected to hear an update on someone I used to like while eating ice cream, haha. It was strangely nice and surprising, and now I want to come back in the evening to try the cocktails too.
Is Mellows worth the trip? A big eater's verdict

This time I visited Mellows as part of a sponsored campaign, but this is genuinely a place I'd pay to come back to on my own. I already love Sangha Farm milk ice cream so it suited my taste perfectly, and I loved that the milk flavor was rich and heavy, plus the ice cream was packed solid all the way to the center, haha. All four flavors were great, but the plain one really is the true foundation — with the nutty granola added, it's fully nutty-sweet, haha.
I especially loved the time I spent eating ice cream sitting outside that day, haha. It seems like a great spot for dessert after a meal before walking around Seoul Forest, and if you're looking for a Seongsu dessert spot and craving rich milk-flavored ice cream, it's worth a stop. I think I'll be back again soon :) Whether I'll manage to order just one ice cream next time, though, who knows, lol lol.
