Busanjin bakery for frozen peanut bread: Daeshin Peanut Bread
In short
Daeshin Peanut Bread Busan Seomyeon Branch is a bakery in Busanjin, Busan, selling peanut bread and egg bread. I bought two 80-piece boxes at my mother-in-law’s request and tried the bread on the street, then frozen the next morning. Verdict: peanut lovers should try it fresh and as frozen peanut bread.

Looking for peanut bread to take to the in-laws in Seomyeon?
I was in Seomyeon running errands and ended up needing to stop by my in-laws’ place. My mother-in-law asked me to pick up some peanut bread. She said there was a really delicious peanut-bread shop, haha, and asked for a box—so we visited Daeshin Peanut Bread Busan Seomyeon Branch to buy one for ourselves too.

Daeshin Peanut Bread is across the street near the former NC Department Store. You know, across from the Starbucks in the Cube building! The bright yellow sign and cute peanut character catch your eye.

Those plump peanut breads are waiting for me.... But seriously, I think this is the first time I’ve seen peanut bread with this many peanuts pressed into it.

Daeshin Peanut Bread also sells peanut butter, in two versions: creamy and crunchy! I looove crunchy~

Roasted peanuts are ₩5,000 for 500 g and ₩10,000 for 1 kg! “You may sample the peanuts!” The sign really caught my eye.

A savory egg bread to eat right away
We were saving the peanut bread for home~~~ so we each bought an egg bread to eat immediately! The egg bread was lightly salty and mild.

They say that once egg bread has cooled, heating it for 20–30 seconds lets you enjoy it like it was just baked!

The 80-piece box did not get soggy
The 80-piece peanut bread comes boxed like this. The packaging is sturdy, and they leave it slightly open so it will not get soggy—so it did not get soggy at all. One box for us, one box for my mother-in-law: two boxes purchased~~ I wondered how they would pack 80 pieces, but it looked like they really counted out exactly 80.

Trying peanut-packed peanut bread on the street first
You know the best bread is bread eaten on the street........ I had planned to eat it at home, but if my picky mother-in-law liked it, I had to know just how good it was—so I picked one up and tried it on the street.
Wow, though... even the look of it... it is absolutely packed with peanuts!!!!!!!!!!! When you eat it, the nutty peanut flavor spreads through your mouth, and the texture is so good too. Seriously, so delicious.. Anyone who loves that nutty peanut flavor will definitely like it!!!! (It is not very sweet, so I think older people would be huge fans too.)

The air fryer and milk combination
They even write out how to enjoy it, and say it tastes best when lightly warmed in an air fryer! (According to my mother-in-law.)

Peanut bread filling the box alllll the way up. The era of chewy chocolate cookies, butter rice cakes, and Chang-eok rice cakes is over.. Now the era of peanut bread shall begin..

Everyone knows peanut bread with milk is an absolutely mind-blowing combination, right...? The nuttiness of peanuts and milk... mind-blowing..

Frozen peanut bread the next day
Honestly, baking skill matters with desserts like this, and they baked these so wonderfully crisp. Even when I ate them two hours after they were packed, they were not soggy at all—still super crisp!
+ The next morning... my husband made a huge fuss from the moment we woke up and put some peanut bread in my mouth. It was really delicious as frozen peanut bread too.. I had put the leftovers in the freezer.. I was like, who eats frozen peanut bread?.. But it was genuinely insanely good..... Put the leftovers in the freezer and try them as frozen peanut bread!
