Busanjin café for peanut-filled takeaway snacks: Daeshin Peanut Bread
In short
Daeshin Peanut Bread Busan Seomyeon Branch is a takeaway peanut-bread café in Busanjin, Busan. I took home 45 peanut breads and 2 egg breads for 10,000 won; the peanut breads were crisp outside and moist inside, while the egg breads were the hit at home. A generous, easy-to-carry Seomyeon snack.

Anyone else buy peanut bread whenever they stop at a highway rest area? 🙋♀️ I’ve eaten peanut bread since I was little. These days, though, they pack them full of peanuts 🤞 so they’re nuttier and have such a nice texture!

Daeshin Peanut Bread Busan Seomyeon Branch (대신땅콩빵 부산서면점), which was famous at Seomun Market, also has a Seomyeon branch, so I went! 👊 It’s open 10:00–20:00, closed Sundays, and there’s no parking. It’s close to Exit 6 of Seomyeon Station! It’s also near Jeonpo, and after looking around Jeonpo I was getting hungry—then I spotted peanut bread and decided I had to have some 🙋♀️

Takeaway peanut bread near Seomyeon Station
It’s right along the road, so it’s easy to find 👍🏻 Cute little peanuts welcome you. There’s no eating in; it’s takeaway only!

I arrived with my expectations climbing because there were peanuts everywhere 🤎

Peanut bread and egg bread prices
Peanut bread costs ₩3,000 for 20, ₩6,000 for 45, and ₩10,000 for 80. They can bake them without peanuts, too! (But I love them more with peanuts 🫶) The prices are kind and the portions are generous. Seriously, isn’t that amount at that price such a bargain? ㅠㅠ Even from far away, look how many peanuts there are.. 🥹

When people pass by, the smell of peanut bread baking makes them turn around! The moment I saw the peanut-bread sign from afar, I decided I had to eat some too haha.

They sell egg bread as well as peanut bread. Places selling egg bread aren’t that common, but Daeshin Peanut Bread has it 👏 It’s ₩2,000 for 1, ₩5,500 for 3, and ₩12,000 for 7. It looked mild and delicious, so I packed up 2 egg breads 🍳🍳 Bottom line, everyone: buy the egg bread.

They said I could try the roasted peanuts! They sell roasted peanuts too: ₩5,000 for 500 g and ₩10,000 for 1 kg. They’re great for snacking. Peanuts don’t seem like they’d make you gain weight… right? I can eat lots, right..? They’re nuts 🥹

Box packaging and reheating instructions
They packed everything in a box like this, so it would be nice as a gift and was convenient to carry 🫶

I liked them even cold, but if you want them nice and warm, microwave them for 20–30 seconds and you’re done ⭐️

They sell not only peanut bread, but peanut butter and peanut lattes too—it’s peanut heaven 🤎

The box made it convenient to carry, and nothing got jumbled up 👍🏻 I think it would make a great gift too! (Give me one as a gift) 🙋♀️

I had lots of luggage, so I put it in my bag, but the box didn’t get crushed and nothing leaked out. Great packaging 🌟 Forty-five peanut breads and 2 egg breads! Getting this generous a haul for ₩10,000 is seriously the best value 🫶 Seeing the egg breads fit perfectly in the box made me feel at peace haha.

Crisp-outside, moist-inside peanut bread packed with peanuts
They’re packed with peanuts and crisp outside, moist inside. Where I live, we have the old-school kind of peanut bread with one peanut on top and one on the bottom. The kind sold alongside walnut cakes. So I was always a little disappointed, but Daeshin Peanut Bread fills these little breads with peanuts 👊 They were crisp, moist inside, and even nuttier and tastier because of it 🌟

Mild egg bread that was a hit at home
And the mild egg. bread! It was delicious 🫶 It was just perfect to eat when I got peckish after buying it 🌟 It would be great as a snack for kids too. Someone at my house said the egg bread was their number-one pick!

There’s seriously egg in there—bam!!!! It’s moist and would be filling enough for breakfast 🍳 The egg bread was popular at my house.

So much egg in there too, right!!!!

They even included instructions for enjoying them at their best, so you can eat them warm at home as if they’d just come out of the oven 🍳 I’ve never met anyone who dislikes peanut bread 🥹 Everyone, enjoy some delicious peanut bread 👏
