In short
Pyu Euljiro is a Western dining and wine bar near Euljiro 3(sam)-ga Station in Jung-gu, Seoul, set on the first floor of an office building on Mareunnae-ro. Visited on a weekday afternoon, the roughly 80-pyeong hall has floor-to-ceiling windows, landscaping, a central group table, and cloth-curtained semi-private seats, with mackerel pasta and charcoal-grilled octopus on the table. Today I'm writing about my visit to a pasta and wine bar in Euljiro, Pyu Euljiro! As you can see in the photo above, it's located in a building that also houses regular offices. The interior was surprisingly pleasant :)

Pyu (phew) Euljiro is a dining and wine bar that nails both the mood and the food! I went on a weekday afternoon, and since it's a wine bar, they had the lighting turned down a bit for that soft ambiance. It's a great spot for blind dates, dates, or gatherings when you want to eat somewhere with a good atmosphere haha. Highly recommend it if you have a blind date, date, or meetup planned in Euljiro!

An 80-pyeong hall with floor-to-ceiling windows and greenery
The moment I walked in, the floor-to-ceiling windows caught my eye! And I really loved the lush green landscaping woven into the interior ✨ It felt like healing in the middle of the city..! The overall beige-toned interior gave it a cozy mood, and the flowers placed on the group table showed a lot of thoughtful care! I heard the place is about 80 pyeong. There's a group seating area right in the middle, and it's spacious and comfortable overall, so it seems perfect for group gatherings like wedding invitation meetups too.

The kitchen area looked like it was semi open-kitchen style! And I also loved that, rare for Euljiro (?), the ceilings were quite high.

And if you follow the path to the right from the entrance, there were plenty of seats tucked further inside too.

Isn't this inner area so pretty too...?!

Semi-private seats screened with cloth
This isn't quite a private room, but each seat has a cloth screen, so you can eat with a bit more privacy haha. And even aside from these seats, the table spacing overall was wide, which made it really nice for conversation!

The menu board and set menus
Here's Pyu Euljiro's menu board! They have pasta, risotto, and grilled dishes as à la carte items. We ordered the mackerel pasta and charcoal-grilled octopus here :)

They also have set menus, which I think would be great for anyone who has trouble picking dishes one by one!

Here's the drinks, wine, and liquor menu! I wanted orange juice so I ordered that, and my friend ordered a zero-sugar cola!

And they were running this generous event too! A single glass of wine here is probably close to ₩15,000, so getting a free glass just for writing a review sounds great haha.

How was the mackerel pasta and charcoal-grilled octopus?
First, the mackerel pasta we ordered came out! The mackerel was (of course) boneless and served in a generous portion! The pasta portion was bigger than at other places too. I never knew oil pasta and grilled mackerel went together this well! It paired so well with the arugula and I ate it all up happily...🤤✨ Even with the oil-plus-grilled-fish combo, it wasn't greasy or heavy at all — light and clean.

Next was the grilled octopus! It was super tender, and the sauce underneath was so good I basically mopped it all up. The wood ear mushrooms paired really well with it too!

A shot of me not being able to wait for the octopus and already cutting into the mackerel... lol. Oh, the orange juice also tasted like 100% fresh-squeezed juice. Every dish had a generous portion and tasted amazing, so I genuinely, highly recommend this place ✨ The staff were also super kind! It's not just an Instagram-pretty spot with good vibes — it's actually great for dates and blind dates too, so if you're ever in Euljiro, I recommend giving it a try!
