Three burgers compared at a Gwanak burger spot: Daily Fix, Seoul
In short
Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance is an open-kitchen burger restaurant on Gwanak-ro in Sharosu-gil, Seoul. The writer ordered the Patty Melt, Bacon Cheese, and Hawaiian Bacon BBQ Burger side by side to compare buns, toppings, and sauces, with the Hawaiian Bacon BBQ Burger's pineapple-BBQ balance standing out most. Plenty of seats and many solo diners make it comfortable for both dates and eating alone.

Today I'm starting my honest review of "Daily Fix," a handmade burger spot in Sharosu-gil ~~!

The exterior gives off a strong American vibe!! It's also certified as a food safety-verified business by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, so that's reassuring haha
Daily Fix apparently means a daily routine, or a moment of being completely absorbed in something. They say their value comes together when three things reach perfect balance: quality of taste, a sensory space, and a consistent philosophy. Having that philosophy seems to make the finished product feel deeper 👍🏻

Open kitchen and seating — is it comfortable eating alone?
It being an open kitchen makes me trust the place even more..🩷

There were quite a lot of seats, and plenty of people eating alone too! It didn't feel awkward at all to eat solo here, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a solo-dining spot near Seoul National University Entrance haha

Every table has tissues, wet wipes, a fork, and a knife! Perfect for cutting up your burger 🙌

What we ordered and the prices
The burger lineup and sides kept tempting me, so I had a hard time choosing.
- Patty Melt (₩12,900)
- Bacon Cheese (₩12,900)
- Hawaiian Bacon BBQ Burger (₩13,900)
- Soda Water (₩2,900)

Jjomi normally loves burgers and has tried plenty of places! What stood out most at Daily Fix was the freshness of the ingredients and how juicy the patty was. Since everything's cooked right after ordering, we got to eat it hot, and the harmony between bun, patty, and vegetables made every bite satisfying! 🍔

Hawaiian Bacon BBQ Burger ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The juiciness of the 100% Korean beef patty, salty bacon, and sweetly grilled pineapple worked together better than I expected. The BBQ sauce especially tied all the flavors together naturally, so the sweetness never got overpowering and the balance was great. Daily Fix's Hawaiian Bacon BBQ Burger features a combination of house-made bacon, pineapple, and BBQ sauce. If you usually like Hawaiian pizza, I very, very strongly recommend this one!!!!

Bacon Cheese Burger ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This burger felt exactly like a solid, classic burger. If you prefer the combo of patty, bacon, and cheese over flashy toppings, this one would satisfy you.

Patty Melt Burger ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Instead of a regular burger bun, this one has the patty, cheese, and caramelized onions sandwiched between slices of toast, giving it a distinctive charm!!
The moment you take a bite, the flavor of the sweetly sautéed onions rushes up, and it blends so well with the salty patty and savory cheese that it felt like eating a brunch dish. The toast was crisped up on the outside, so the texture was great too, and overall it felt light and clean.
If you usually look for something a bit more special than a typical burger, this one should satisfy you. It feels like a mix of the best parts of brunch and a burger, so I'd recommend it when you want to try a different kind of handmade burger. ✨

There's also a Naver review event going on, so give it a try 🧾
