So this time I went to Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch. I was looking for a hair salon near Sangwangsimni and found this place — besides cuts and perms, they had a variety of clinic menus tailored to hair condition.

I especially liked that they didn't just run through a fixed procedure — they consulted based on my current hair condition before proceeding.

What I got: Ayounche hair clinic, ₩200,000 including length surcharge

This time I got the Ayounche hair clinic treatment. Since my hair is on the long side, there was a ₩50,000 length surcharge, so based on my hair length the total came to about ₩200,000 worth of treatment. If you're looking into long hair clinics, I'd recommend checking whether there's a length surcharge rather than just looking at the base price.

My usual concern is that after drying, the ends look unkempt and dry, so I mentioned this during the consultation. With long hair, it's not easy to manage from the mid-lengths to the ends, so regular care seems important.

A thorough hair clinic process

Once the clinic treatment started in earnest, as you can see in the photos, product was carefully applied all over the hair, followed by a process using a machine.

I thought it would take quite a while since my hair is long, but the staff checked the condition step by step throughout, so it felt comfortable and easy. Personally, when I get a clinic treatment at a salon, I prefer places that go through several stages like this rather than just applying product and calling it done.

Oreudeubi says they use products from L'Oréal, Milbon, and Ayounche, and I could see these products at the salon myself. In the photo, the Ayounche Refining line was also on display, and it seemed like they can tailor care to different scalp conditions and hair concerns.

What did my hair look like after the clinic?

After the treatment finished with a blow-dry, my hair definitely felt much calmer and more settled compared to before.

Since I have long hair, my ends especially tend to look frizzy easily, but after the blow-dry, the overall texture looked nicely aligned, which I liked. Running my hand through it, it also felt softer than before :)

A clinic treatment isn't a dramatic style change like a perm or dye job, but maybe that's exactly why the before-and-after difference depends so much on your hair's condition. If you're growing your hair long, or if dye or perm has left your hair feeling dry and frizzy, this seems worth trying at least once.

This was a small but nice touch — drinks were prepared for guests to enjoy during their treatment.

From Americano to mixed coffee, sweet yuzu tea, peppermint, rooibos, green tea, and green grape, orange, and apple juice — the selection was more varied than I expected.

Treatments like clinics that take time mean sitting for quite a while, so it was nice to be able to wait comfortably with a drink in hand.

There was a separate price list at the salon, which made it easy to check before the treatment.

The women's basic cut was ₩28,000 at the designer rate, and a standard blow-dry started from ₩22,000, with a wide range of dye, perm, and clinic menus available. Prices can vary depending on the treatment, the designer in charge, and hair length, so I'd recommend checking exact pricing before booking.

Iron perms and repair magic straightening were also available, and they mentioned that if you return within 7 days of treatment, they'll touch up any missed spots for free.
