Gwanyang-dong café in Anyang with cream pastas and fruity ade: Eggroom

Eggroom in Anyang's Dongpyeon-maeul was exactly what I wanted on this cool, breezy weather — a brunch spot with a great atmosphere!

You can enjoy brunch and pasta along with coffee and dessert all in one place, so it's great both for a meal and as a café stop when you're exploring Dongpyeon-maeul.

Inside Eggroom and the outdoor terrace seats

As soon as I stepped inside, I felt a warm, cozy atmosphere throughout. Thanks to the stylish props and interior, every seat made for pretty photos!

The indoor space was great, but what I liked especially was the outdoor terrace. On a day like this with a pleasant breeze, sitting on the terrace for a relaxed brunch was just perfect.

What we ordered at Eggroom

This time we ordered corn cream gnocchi, mushroom cream fettuccine, and fruity cool ade.

Corn cream gnocchi

First, the corn cream gnocchi combined a smooth, savory cream with the naturally sweet flavor of corn. The chewy gnocchi was coated thickly in the cream sauce, so every bite was full of savory flavor.

The gentle sweetness of the corn gave it a different charm from a typical cream gnocchi. It was soft and comforting — I kept reaching for more!

Mushroom cream fettuccine

The mushroom cream fettuccine had cream sauce soaked well into the flat noodles, so I could really enjoy the thick, rich flavor.

The aroma of mushrooms blended naturally with the savory cream, and the chewy texture of the fettuccine noodles came through nicely too. If you like cream pasta, this was a satisfying dish.

Fruity cool ade

The fruity cool ade we drank alongside the two creamy dishes was a great pairing. The sweetness of strawberry combined with the tartness of pineapple, refreshing the palate.

The color was pretty too, so it was great for photos with the food, and just like its name, it was light and refreshing to drink!

Eggroom is a great spot when you want to handle both a meal and a café visit in one place on the Dongpyeon-maeul café street. The food was delicious, but I really loved the space itself — I wanted to stay longer.

Next time, I'd like to have brunch and then slowly enjoy an egg tart and other desserts too.

The warm, sentimental indoor atmosphere was pretty, but personally, I especially loved the outdoor terrace surrounded by greenery! In weather like this, when the sun isn't too strong, sitting outside and chatting slowly was just perfect.

The food plating was clean and the drink colors were pretty too, so it was fun taking photos. If you're looking for a place on the Dongpyeon-maeul café street that has both a great atmosphere and good food, Eggroom would suit you well.

This time we focused on the cream menu, so next time I'd like to try other brunch dishes along with the egg tart and desserts, enjoying it a bit more leisurely.
