Outdoor-seat brunch in Anyang: mushroom cream fettuccine, Eggroom

I visited Dongpyeon-maeul recently and the neighborhood was just so, so pretty~ I thought having brunch here would feel amazing, so I went to Eggroom, a well-known brunch spot in Anyang's Dongpyeon-maeul. There are a lot of brunch places around, but Eggroom has plenty of actual meal options and I'd heard the egg tart was delicious, so it was somewhere I really wanted to try~ And the outdoor patio has an interior that makes you feel like you're on a little getaway, so I headed to Eggroom without a second thought.

Eggroom is located at 26 Dongpyeon-ro 49beon-gil, 102-ho, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and it's closed every Tuesday, just so you know~ It's also closed on September 25 for Chuseok. Keep that in mind before you visit.

Eggroom, this brunch spot in Anyang's Dongpyeon-maeul, seems to be near a lot of offices, because plenty of office workers were in during lunchtime enjoying a cup of coffee~ Wouldn't it be great to have a gorgeous brunch café like this near your office??

What we ordered at Eggroom

Here's the menu. It's great whether you just want a simple coffee or want to order a full brunch — that's this Anyang Dongpyeon-maeul brunch spot for you. We ordered mushroom cream fettuccine, an egg tart, and two iced Americanos. Looking at it now, the egg cream latte and almond cream mocha look delicious too, and since the eggs themselves are so good at this café, I'll have to try the eggs Benedict next time.

There were lots of cute candles too, and various desserts on sale. So mouth-watering ㅜㅜ

The weather was so nice that Eggroom had all the windows open, and it felt like being abroad somewhere~ There's also room-like seating inside, and it's a great space for moms in Dongpyeon-maeul to gather after drop-off, or just to catch up with friends. The space itself is so pretty that it puts you in a good mood.

I'd heard the egg tart was delicious, so my expectations were sky-high.

Once 1pm hit, all the office workers cleared out and an outdoor table opened up, so we moved right over ㅋ

How does Eggroom's egg tart taste?

Eggroom's egg tart was the best egg tart I've ever had. If you come to Eggroom, the egg tart is the dessert you must order ㅜ The egg is genuinely so fluffy... sweet, a taste you have to try to understand.

The egg is truly moist through and through. Moist, fluffy, crisp on the outside — a flavor you absolutely have to take home if you're in Dongpyeon-maeul, even just to go.

Mushroom cream fettuccine: worth it if you love cream

And then the mushroom cream fettuccine arrived. From the moment it landed on the table, the button mushroom aroma was amazing...

With a gentle breeze blowing, eating a delicious brunch felt like,,

The mushroom cream fettuccine had plenty of thick, rich sauce, so I piled extra sauce on every bite. Cream with button mushrooms in it just can't taste bad, you know,,??

They also cut the mushrooms both finely and in big chunks, so the texture itself was great too. The noodles were cooked just right, and honestly the sauce was the real MVP ㅜ If you love cream, there's no way you won't love this.

We could also grab pickles and jalapeños easily from the self-bar. Even after finishing the noodles, we scraped up every last bit of sauce.

What time is Eggroom quietest?

By the time we finished and left it was past 2pm, so it was really quiet and easy to enjoy — that's Eggroom, this brunch spot in Anyang's Dongpyeon-maeul. Whenever I want brunch and a coffee in Dongpyeon-maeul, I think I'll be heading straight to Eggroom. Great menu, great atmosphere — a brunch café I left very satisfied with.
