Where is Sese Coffee Songni-dan-gil?

Sese Coffee Songni-dan-gil is a roastery café at 11 Baekjegobun-ro 46-gil, 1st floor, Songpa-gu, Seoul. It's close to Exit 4 of Songpa Naru Station, and among the Songni-dan-gil cafés it's one of the ones closer to Lotte Tower in Jamsil, so it's worth recommending as a Jamsil roastery café.

Outdoor seats and bar table: fine for coffee alone too

There were outdoor seats set up in front of Sese Coffee. Nights have gotten a lot cooler these days, so it seems like it'd be just right to sit here for coffee after sunset!

There are also plenty of tables inside, and the bar table has a good number of seats too, so it's a nice spot to come for solo coffee.

It felt charming and cute, with plants catching my eye everywhere. A warm-feeling roastery café — my eyes kept drifting to the plants and pots too..💕

The roasting machine inside Sese Coffee

The owner is clearly serious about coffee, and being so kind, that came through well.

Having a roasting machine right inside the shop shows this isn't just some ordinary café — the owner really is serious about coffee. Roasting machines are usually something you see at big cafés that take up an entire building..!

Ordering the decaf iced latte, lemonade and tiramisu

They said the lemonade comes pre-mixed, so you can just drink it as is.

The decaf latte's beans (roasted sweet potato, chocolate, peanut). This decaf leans nutty rather than acidic. I bet a regular non-decaf latte with these beans would be even nuttier and tastier — I really want to come back for one when I need caffeine during the day!

My husband ordered the decaf latte, and it wasn't very sweet but had a tangy edge. A flavor that makes you feel young again 🍋🍋

That morning we'd gone to my aunt's peach orchard in Icheon, then went home just to change clothes before heading out again. I was tired enough to want to just rest at home, but coming out for a date at a café with great coffee was so nice! Even with decaf, one delicious latte is enough to clear your head.

What the decaf tiramisu tastes like

Sese Coffee's tiramisu is also made with decaf, so eating it in the evening comes with less caffeine worry, and it melted right in my mouth :) The cream isn't dense but melts instantly like cotton candy — a milky cream feel mixed with what tastes like fresh whipped cream. The tiramisu + latte combo is so good.
