Songdo outlet café decaf cream latte: Wunder Coffee Bar

I finally got to spend some time one-on-one with my neighbor unni (older sister/female friend) at Songhyeona! We shopped and looked around at this and that, and it felt a little sad to just say goodbye, so we decided to sit down for a quick coffee. This time, we stopped by Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch!

Wunder Coffee Bar: a handy shopping-break stop

Wunder Coffee Bar is on the basement level of Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo, so it was an easy place to naturally pop into while shopping. Rather than a large, separate café space, you eat and drink at the chairs around the food court—and honestly, that was more comfortable for us. We ordered a coffee and an ice cream, then sat and chatted slowly, and it felt more relaxed than I expected!!

So, what did the Uji tea Wunder Gato taste like?

Looking at the menu, Wunder Gato was marked as a signature item, so unni immediately chose it. She picked the Uji tea flavor for the ice cream, and I was curious from the start because the color was so soft and subtle.

Once I tried it, the tea’s nutty, gently bitter flavor came through more than I expected. It had a slight bitterness like matcha, but it leaned much more toward nutty and smooth. The ice cream itself was soft and sweet, so it went really well with the tea flavor.

Wunder Coffee cream latte, switched to decaf

I chose the Wunder Coffee cream latte, and since I personally really love places with decaf options, I switched it to decaf for an extra ₩1,000. Being able to choose decaf at a café is a bigger advantage than you might think. You want coffee, but caffeine can make you hesitate later in the day, you knowㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Wunder Coffee is a cream-latte style drink topped with soft cream, so the first sip was sweet and creamy. The cream on top was rich and smooth, and it seemed to round out the coffee’s bitterness. When mixed with the coffee underneath, the sweet, nutty flavor flowed along naturally.

A little moment of luxury over coffee

A cup of coffee might not seem like a big deal, but between looking after the kids and being busy with our own lives, it had been such a long time since unni and I had sat down and talked leisurely, just the two of us. Sitting down during our shopping with an ice cream and a coffee, talking about this and that—it just made me happy somehow, haha.

Especially when you are looking for a café at Songdo Hyundai Outlet and want somewhere to rest without going far out of your shopping route, I thought this kind of café could actually be more convenient! It is less like seeking out an independent café with a great atmosphere and more like a place to relax comfortably and enjoy coffee in the middle of shopping!

And personally, the Uji tea Wunder Gato was memorable. I recommend it if you like desserts with a subtle tea aroma rather than ice cream that is only sweet, haha! Next time, I want to try another flavor too! (I am a chocolate fanatic, so I am curious about the chocolate latte too,,,,,🖤)

If you are looking for a Songdo café that is easy to visit alongside shopping, this is one worth remembering. More than the tasty treats, though, I think what I loved most that day was having a relaxed little date with unni, just the two of us, for the first time in ages.
