Seomyeon chicken feet bar with mild spice highballs: Mokhwa Silbi
In short
Mokhwa Silbi is a dish-and-drinks bar on Manchwi-gil, halfway along the 2nd Street stretch in Seomyeon, Busan. The fondue chicken feet (퐁듀인닭발) cost 32,000 won and came at level-1 spice, mild enough for weak-spice eaters, with the meat already easy to pull off the bone, served alongside a tuna rice ball, lemon and Earl Grey highballs, and maehwasu plum liqueur. Bubbling away on a hot stone plate under cheese, ramyeon, and nachos, the chicken feet at Mokhwa Silbi make the highballs disappear fast.

Today I'm posting about Mokhwa Silbi in Seomyeon, a bar I'd recommend for its atmosphere and for being a chicken feet spot — here's my review after eating the chicken feet set there :)

This is Mokhwa Silbi, a bar on Mantwi-gil in Seomyeon district 2 :) It's right in the middle of Mantwi-gil so it's super accessible, and I'd walked past it and visited it a few times before.

One reason I keep coming back to Mokhwa Silbi is that the side dishes are so perfectly targeted at women's taste, and the vibe is great too — so I'm recommending Mokhwa Silbi as a Seomyeon bar with great atmosphere ~

Mokhwa Silbi menu and prices: what we ordered
Here's the Mokhwa Silbi menu for reference :) There's a really wide variety, and they even have set menus at good value, so it's a great Seomyeon bar for group visits too!!
Also, Mokhwa Silbi has a huge variety of drinks, which I love hahaha
- Fondue chicken feet — 32,000
- Tuna rice ball — 5,500
- Maehwasu — 7,000
- Earl Grey highball — 8,000
- Lemon highball — 7,000

This side dish came out fast after ordering — mukjuksa (acorn jelly slush) with old-school sausage, love that combo...

Tuna rice ball, 5,500 won: a genuinely big portion
Tuna rice ball — 5,500. I only ordered one but the portion was huge lol, seasoned just right, and served warm so it was really tasty!!!

It's really delicious eaten together with the chicken feet, so make sure to add it on haha

Maehwasu ,, it was so good I rushed to snap a photo mid-drink. Spicy chicken feet and sweet maehwasu, why do they pair so well...
Fondue chicken feet, 32,000 won: is level-1 spice mild enough?
And here's the main dish that came out quickly — Mokhwa Silbi's fondue chicken feet!!!!!!!!!!

Just looking at it, the visuals are perfect lol — chicken feet plus rice ball plus cheese plus ramyeon plus nachos... an irresistible combo if you ask me ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Isn't the cheese amazing lol. It's nacho cheese but it goes so well with the chicken feet too, I really enjoyed it.
I ordered it at level-1 spice, and it was just spicy enough while still tasty — even a spice-sensitive person could probably handle it well!!! I think I'll come back to Mokhwa Silbi for the fondue chicken feet again ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

There's really a lot of meat on the chicken feet and the bones come off really easily, so even people who don't usually eat chicken feet would probably enjoy this combo !! Recommended

They simmer it bubbling on a stone plate so you can eat it warm the whole time, which makes it even more delicious ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

The ramyeon noodles blend so well with the delicious sauce from the chicken feet that the drinks just keep going down, so I ordered a second helping lol
Lemon and Earl Grey highballs at Mokhwa Silbi
Mokhwa Silbi is also famous as a highball spot, and now I get why !~?~? Mokhwa Silbi's lemon highball / Earl Grey highball.

A highball to drink alongside Mokhwa Silbi's chicken feet lol, it pairs so well, you have to try it ,,,,

The lemon highball's visuals are seriously intense lol — have you ever seen a highball place pile on lemon like this...
The Earl Grey highball also wasn't just full of ice — there was plenty of alcohol and a strong Earl Grey flavor, and the highball taste was really excellent!!
Great taste, great quality — Mokhwa Silbi in Seomyeon, I'll definitely be back !!!! hahaha
