The weather's gotten pretty cool lately, so I went to Saechamcoffee on Anyang's Daengri-dan-gil — a great spot for a weekend outing!

Inside Saechamcoffee: seating and can you bring a dog?

The interior is clean and wood-toned, with plenty of seating stretching all the way to the back — great for group visits. There's also a restroom inside the café, and it's super clean!!

Dogs are welcome, so lots of pups were out enjoying the café too! There are dedicated pet cushions available. And since the tables are spaced out generously, it seemed like a really good spot to bring a stroller and a baby along.

Saechamcoffee's detox juice and dessert menu

Saechamcoffee has a varied and special drink menu — instead of plain fruit juice, they have a whole detox juice line, which I really loved! There are also plenty of drip coffee options, perfect for coffee lovers' taste. And they've got the trendy cup bingsu (shaved ice dessert) and watermelon juice too.

The dessert lineup was pretty varied too. From cakes to cookies, scones, and castella, it's all sweet enough to give you a proper sugar boost. The cookies looked homemade and honestly so delicious haha. I guess everyone thinks alike, because every table had a cookie on it.

The coffee was delicious, and sure enough, they sell drip bags separately too. Would make a great gift.

The three weekend-only sandwiches: what we ordered and prices

Saechamcoffee has 3 sandwiches sold only on weekends — you can't miss those, right? There's even a set discount, which made it even better.

  • Spicy chicken sandwich set (₩14,500)
  • Apple + kale detox juice (₩7,800)
  • Yellow cheese s'more Levain cookie (₩4,300)

That's what I ordered!

After about a 10-minute wait, the food arrived. Isn't the presentation so pretty? Perfect for photos if you're here on a date.

The spicy chicken sandwich comes on ciabatta

I debated between the 3 kinds and went with the spicy chicken. Usually when you order a sandwich at a café it's on regular sliced bread, right? But here they use ciabatta, so it comes out looking like something from a real sandwich specialty shop! Even at a glance, the filling looked generous.

It's made with chicken thigh, romaine, tomato, onion, sun-dried tomato, chipotle, and mayonnaise — and the sun-dried tomato was such a kick. True to its name, it had a nice light spiciness.

A refreshing pickle was served alongside too, so I could enjoy it deliciously right down to the last bite.

Having had something savory, it was time to balance it out with something sweet. There were many kinds of Levain cookies, but I picked the yellow cheese one. The stretchy marshmallow visual and the chewy texture were so good.

My health-conscious companion had the apple + kale detox juice, and one sip in, it was surprisingly delicious?! Totally recommend it if you're looking for a non-coffee drink 👍

The iced Americano paired perfectly with both the sandwich and the cookie. Seems like they use beans with a smooth, nutty flavor and no sourness.
