I had time to kill before a movie so I went for a walk around Daengri-dan-gil in Anyang, and after wandering a bit I got hungry?? I debated whether to eat or not, and ended up at Saechamcoffee, a brunch spot on Daengri-dan-gil in Anyang where you can grab something simple 😊

Once inside, there were surprisingly a lot of people. There's a space with seats lined up along the picture window, and there's also seating further inside, so just take whichever spot feels comfortable.

Saechamcoffee, this café on Daengri-dan-gil in Anyang, has a tiered point reward system that gives back a percentage on payment, and also sells prepaid vouchers with bonus points added. If I lived in Anyang, I'd definitely buy a prepaid voucher (that's a spoiler 😎)

Here's what we ordered.

Caprese basil sandwich set, 15,000 won

Here's the caprese basil sandwich. Having coffee included in the set was so nice. Just note, the coffee that comes with the set can't be swapped or added to.

It's made with healthy ingredients only — mozzarella, arugula, tomato, and more! Super thick and big, so it really filled us up, and the taste was on point too. Glad we ordered the sandwich :)

Cold brew latte, 5,500 won

Here's the cold brew latte. My partner meant to order an einspänner but got mixed up and ordered a cold brew instead..😭😭 But my ever-positive partner ended up praising it anyway, saying it was smooth with less bitterness.

Red velvet s'more levain cookie and plain scone

The desserts caught my eye, so I ended up buying them anyway haha. Even though we were full, it was one of those tastes that just keeps pulling you in..

The red velvet s'more cookie had nuts scattered throughout, making it sweet yet nutty. This s'more cookie was so good I wanted to buy more of just the cookie 😍

The scone was crisp outside, soft inside — truly incredible how soft it was :) We meant to just have a light sandwich and coffee, but couldn't resist the visuals and ended up ordering everything..😵😵

Who will like Saechamcoffee?

Saechamcoffee's sandwiches seem good enough for a full meal, and it's also a great café to just come for a drink.
