Dunsan-dong lash salon for sensitive eyes: LED perm-point at Rimseutu
In short
Rimseutu is a perm-point lash extension salon on the 2nd floor of Dunsan Family Town, between Dunsan-dong and Tanbang-dong in Seo-gu, Daejeon. The writer came in two months after a lash perm had grown unruly, asked for a natural curl, and left with LED perm-point extensions in which the natural and false lashes matched so closely that nobody could tell they were extensions. Rimseutu's LED method also worked on eyes too sensitive for glue extensions and held for over a month, making it more satisfying than a lash perm.

Today I did a thorough search for lash extensions in Dunsan-dong and landed on Rimseutu, which is also close to Tanbang-dong.

Rimseutu sits in a spot close to both Dunsan-dong and Tanbang-dong. I searched hard for 'Dunsan-dong lashes' and read through reviews, and picked this place because perm-point extensions are their specialty.
What are LED perm-point lash extensions?
Perm-point extension is a technique built on a lash perm base, adding extensions only at key points — it keeps the natural line while emphasizing design. Since it's a perm plus extensions combined, it solves both sparse lashes and short lashes!
With regular lash extensions, the separation is usually obvious and they look fake, so I'd never wanted to try them. But the perm-point extensions coming out these days look so undetectable you can't tell real from false lashes. They looked so natural and pretty that I really wanted to try it once.

Rimseutu in Dunsan-dong: location, parking and interior
Rimseutu is in Unit 211 on the 2nd floor of Dunsan Family Town, with free parking in the surface lot. After booking, I parked for free at the Family Town lot and hurried up to the 2nd floor.

Step off the elevator on the 2nd floor and it's right there.

When you arrive, you switch into slippers and head inside!

Inside there are two clean beds. Since it's appointment-only, there's no overlap with other clients unless you specifically want simultaneous sessions!

You can see the director's awards and license on display, and there's a small area inside where you can sit for consultation or wait.
Before: lashes two months after a lash perm

It's been two months since my lash perm and my lashes are completely unruly. Before the treatment, they ask what curl you want and whether you prefer a natural or a dramatic look. I said I always prefer natural, and that I wanted my eyes to look clear even without makeup rather than just another lash perm — so I went with perm-point extensions (lash extensions).
After: how the LED perm-point extensions at Rimseutu turned out

It just doesn't make sense... Even looking closely up close, no one could tell they were extensions at all. My bare eyes without mascara or eyeliner looked this pretty!!!! There's zero separation, and since they're attached at the root with LED, the real and false lashes line up perfectly so they look clean and just like my own lashes!!!!!!
My eyes look so clear that even with just lip color on, bare-faced, it looks like I'm wearing makeup. People kept saying something looked different, but none of them guessed it was lash extensions — they asked if I got a perm haha. They said my eyes suddenly got pretty, so — happy!
These days I'm too lazy to do full makeup and just draw the outer corners with eyeliner, but my eyes already look like I did a full face, so I keep checking the mirror.
Can you get lash extensions with sensitive eyes?
Since my eyes are sensitive, I'd never considered glue-based extensions, but this works even for people with allergies or sensitive eyes — a ray of light for someone like me who tears up constantly.
LED perm-point extensions vs a lash perm
Compared to a lash perm, it's similar but a bit fuller, and in real life my lashes look a little longer. The hold also lasts over a month, so I think it's actually better than a lash perm? I honestly can't think of a downside — why is everyone still just doing black tinting?

The owner is upfront and friendly, and Rimseutu has plenty of regulars. If you're looking for a Tanbang-dong lash perm or Dunsan-dong lash extensions, LED perm-point is a whole new world — highly recommend.
