The exterior alone looks great, right?! Anmin Busan seems to put a lot of care into the details. Also, the day we visited happened to be a full-venue rental day! So full rentals are definitely possible, and it looked like a great spot for a company dinner or after-party haha.

That high-end feel starts right at the entrance haha. It looked like a place with quite a wait if you just walk in — you can check the current wait status through Catch Table, so I'd definitely recommend checking it before heading over on a weekday or weekend evening!

Counter seats, room-style tables and staff who grill for you
Anmin Busan has bar-style dachi seating too, and the tables are pretty wide. The spacing between seats is generous, so it looked really comfortable to eat here. That thoughtfulness toward guests really stood out haha. There's also room-style seating, which looked perfect for people quietly dining with their parents!
At Anmin Busan, staff apparently grill the meat for you themselves~ Grilling it yourself is delicious too, but meat someone else grills for you haha, you just can't refuse that. I tried it beforehand and honestly the juices were bursting out... I still can't forget it — it was the best.

What we ordered at Anmin Busan: half whole-pig set, doenjang sulbap, steamed egg
The menu was diverse without feeling overwhelming! We ordered 1 whole-pig half set, 1 doenjang sulbap (soybean-paste rice), 1 bowl of rice, and 1 steamed egg!

Anmin Busan's dips: pine-pollen salt, fish sauce and shiitake wasabi
Since we had a reservation, the table was already set when we arrived, with side dishes and dips to eat alongside the meat.
These are the dips that let you enjoy Anmin Busan 100%! If it's your first time, the staff happily walk you through them haha. Shiitake wasabi, scallion kimchi, washed kimchi, yuzu ginger, garlic pickle — Anmin Busan's dips were all packed with care! Meat plus salt on its own is already delicious, but I can confidently say that Anmin Busan's own pine pollen salt and fish sauce sauce let you enjoy the meat at 500%!

Ordering from the tabletop kiosk
You can order easily through the tabletop kiosk! If you need water or anything else, you can call staff too haha. Right next to the kiosk there were convenient soju, beer, and staff-call buttons lol, such a nice little detail haha,, but intuitive is best, right? The staff also told us to just press the buttons freely.
The steamed egg came out first! Anmin Busan's steamed egg was, as expected, nutty and soft haha. It felt like it would pair really well with rice and meat too!

The half whole-pig set, grilled as thick-cut pork
The meat finally arrived! Whole-pig half set x 1.

You could really tell the meat was high quality from how confidently they kept it in a showcase aging cabinet~! That's how confident Anmin Busan is in their meat! I could really eat here with trust haha. And having it come out as thick-cut meat felt special haha. Truly felt like being treated to something special!!
The meat finally hit the grill! And off to the side, there was pork rind too! Seeing the pork rind got me so excited haha.

The staff grilled the meat right next to us with real care, so we watched intently! Even a single piece of meat felt handled with attention, which made it even more touching!!!

Even the thick cuts of meat got quickly cut into smaller pieces! Cut into just the right bite-sized pieces, which was so nice.

The meat finally finished grilling! Instead of leaving it on the grill, they served it in a bowl for easier eating! And underneath, they lit a little flame to keep it warm haha. It was great being able to enjoy Anmin Busan's meat warm right down to the last piece.

Isn't this so pretty?! Haha, how is the plating so perfectly bite-sized every time!!!! Even down to a single garnish, Anmin Busan's meat is basically art haha.

Eating delicious meat in such an atmospheric place made me so happy. And seeing the beautifully plated meat kept making me want to take photos and post them on Instagram haha.
How did the pine-pollen salt, fish sauce and cheese fondue taste?
They said the first bite of meat is best with pine pollen salt, so I dipped it in and tried it~ Wow, the pine pollen salt wasn't too salty at all and really boosted the savory depth of the meat. Also, since the meat quality was so good, I never felt it was greasy — from start to finish it felt clean and light! I also tried the garnishes that came with the meat, and while they were tasty on their own, dipping them in the fish sauce doubled the flavor haha. The fish sauce brought out the sweetness and slight saltiness of the charcoal-grilled vegetables, making them pair perfectly with the meat.
Next, the shiitake wasabi and cheese fondue I was so curious about!!! The cheese fondue was packed with cheese flavor, and the combo with the meat was amazing. No matter how heavily you dipped, the meat never felt heavy, which was so delicious~ And the shiitake wasabi! The wasabi flavor wasn't too strong, so it went really well with the meat. Personally, the shiitake wasabi + mushroom + meat combo was the best~!
The standout: herbal pork rind
If you like pork rind, you absolutely have to try it at Anmin Busan... The herbal pork rind was so soft! Usually pork rind is super chewy and sticks to your teeth lol, but Anmin Busan's pork rind felt totally premium — chewy, soft, and nutty all at once, and I kept wanting more. Personally, this is my one pick!!!
Is the 9,000-won doenjang sulbap worth it as a meal?
We also ordered doenjang sulbap for our meal, and it was so carefully made! Not the kind of doenjang sulbap you get at a typical grilled-meat joint — the ingredients were genuinely generous and packed in with care haha. I'd honestly call it ₩9,000 worth of happiness. The savory soybean-paste base with rice, bean sprouts, and mud snails made it so refreshing!

Anmin Busan, a place where you feel truly taken care of! I highly recommend it for a work dinner or a date! Next time I'm bringing my parents!! Highly recommend Anmin Busan.
