5 pm family yacht tour in Yeongdeungpo: Sailing Paradise

When you're tired of the same old Han River dates and want to make a slightly more special, romantic memory, take note. I went yacht riding on the Han River in Yeouido with my mom and sister. It was an unforgettable summer evening spent on the sparkling river.

Sailing Paradise is located inside Yeouido Hangang Park. From the path leading to the marina, the cool river breeze had us full of anticipation. The yacht we boarded was the Catamaran Humin. Its sleek design and spacious layout promised a pleasant start. There were also cozy sofa seats and tables inside, so we could relax comfortably. Soft music played as the yacht glided over the river, and even in the middle of the city, it felt like we had arrived at a laid-back resort.

A 5 pm Han River yacht tour

We boarded the yacht at 5 pm. Another family joined ours, making seven people in total for the yacht tour. I heard that chartering the whole yacht privately costs about ₩450,000, but the group option is available for ₩30,000 per person.

As the yacht drifted leisurely along the Han River, the captain expertly steered while explaining the scenery around us. Seeing landmarks such as the 63 Building, the National Assembly Building, and Namsan Tower unfold along the river made it even more enjoyable.

One glass of wine and crackers were provided during the tour. Sipping wine in the cool river breeze naturally made everything feel more romantic.

When is best for summer Han River night views?

In summer, I think boarding around 7 to 8 pm would be better if you want to fully enjoy the night view. I imagine Seoul's sparkling nighttime scenery would be even more beautiful then.
