Hope everyone had a good weekend, haha! Mine ended with a sweet craving after a nice meal with the kids, so we headed somewhere for dessert — Flowerpot Gojan Branch, a big bakery café in Gojan-dong, Ansan!

This place sits right on the 1st floor. Since it's right behind AW Wedding Hall, weekends bring a crowd of wedding guests too. It's already known for delicious bread, so I used to come here often anyway, haha.

What the space and seating are like at Flowerpot Cafe
Walking into Flowerpot Cafe, the hall is really spacious and clean. There's a variety of seating from 2-person tables to group seats, so you can always find a comfortable spot. True to a bakery café, delicious-looking bread is displayed right in the middle of the store. A treat for the eyes and the mouth, haha.

Flowerpot Cafe's bread and menu lineup
From slice cakes to sandwiches to the trendy wakppu bread, the bakery lineup is really varied. Sandwiches are also sold as set menus that include an americano. There are cool bingsu (shaved ice) sets too, so there's plenty of fun in picking what to order, haha.

Blueberry smoothie, strawberry latte and americano
I ordered a blueberry smoothie, a strawberry latte, and an americano. They must use good beans for the americano — the aroma was great and it tasted really good. All the other drinks were a hit too!

Signature salt bread, garlic baguette and meringue cookies
For bread, I picked the signature salt bread along with meringue cookies and a garlic baguette. The salt bread really lived up to its signature status — soft, with butter on the bottom that's savory and crisp, the flavor was incredible! If you visit, the salt bread is a must-order item. The garlic baguette also paired so well with coffee, the garlic's umami and sweetness working together. But since we'd already eaten a full meal, we couldn't finish it all, haha. Luckily there was a neat, tidy self-packing station tucked in one corner of the store. Being able to comfortably pack up the leftover bread was really nice.

Why Flowerpot Cafe works for a visit with kids
There are pretty bowls, forks, and knives neatly set out for picking bread too. Thanks to this thoughtful touch, plating everything nicely made it taste even better, haha. Baby chairs are also well prepared, so it's a perfect spot for families.

Naver receipt review gift and free coffee grounds
Oh, and they're running a pretty generous receipt review event right now! Write a Naver review and show it to staff, and they'll give you a delicious pretzel meringue cookie for free. Missing out on something like this would be such a shame, right? Be sure to grab one — it's really tasty, haha. On the way out, there's also coffee grounds prepared for you to take home~🙌🏻
