Flowerpot Cafe, a bakery café in Gojan-dong, Ansan — this place is genuinely amazing 😇 I was floored by how good it was. 🥐🥐The salt bread melts in your mouth 🥐🥐 The coffee is really good too (+Americano weak), the chicken breast sandwich was insane, and the pretzel meringue wasn't too sweet and was delicious!!

I meant to share it with my boyfriend, but it was so good I ate the whole thing myself — the sandwich, bread, and coffee from Flowerpot Cafe in Gojan-dong… ha ha ha ha ha. It's genuinely so good!!! Who knew a bread angel was living in Gojan-dong, Ansan.

Chicken breast ciabatta sandwich: filling with just half

I managed to grab the very last chicken breast sandwich at Flowerpot Cafe. Wow, aside from how solid the fillings were… since the bread is ciabatta, it basically can't be bad ㅠㅠㅠㅠ The sandwich is so thick it's wrapped once more before the paper packaging even goes on. Anyway, just half of it is genuinely filling — but since I'm a piggy right now, I ate both halves.

Flowerpot Cafe in Gojan-dong, Ansan is open weekdays 10:00–21:45 and weekends 9:30–21:45. If I'd known the salt bread would be this good, I should have bought more.

An after-party spot near AW Convention Ansan weddings

AW Wedding Hall was really pretty, but I'd vote for Villa de G, which guarantees a proper meal! I fell for the whole vibe Villa de G carries.

This place is Flowerpot Cafe, right next to AW Wedding Hall, right? So it seems like a lot of people come here for wedding after-parties! Same thing happened last spring on a weekend, and again this time! Anyway, genuinely delicious. The coffee's good, the bread's good, and above all, it's a huge café so it's perfect for sitting with a group and chatting 💗

Flowerpot Cafe in Gojan-dong, Ansan really has this huge floor space and so many types of bread. And it's on a different level entirely — the flavor is different too, really. If Daejeon has Sungsimdang, Gojan-dong in Ansan has Flowerpot Cafe!

The store filled up completely with customers at one point, then emptied out again haha.

They've also got these kinds of set menus, plus bingsu (shaved ice) menus!

Now for the most fun part of the world: bread-browsing!!!

So there are scones and tarts here, and this is the salt bread coated in hazelnut glaze.

Salt bread ㅠㅠㅠ everyone, you absolutely have to buy this salt bread while it's in stock ㅠㅠ this place is a salt bread destination. You could taste how generously they put in the butter the moment the salt bread hit my mouth.

Apparently campagne is also one of Flowerpot Cafe's popular breads.

So the last remaining sandwich was mine! There's also pie.

Meringue pretzel: a first bite in a long while

Wow, a meringue pretzel I hadn't had in ages!! I originally bought this to give to my boyfriend but ha ha ha ha ha I ate the whole thing myself. Why was it so good...? There's meringue that's just plain sweet, and there's meringue that's sweet just the right amount — Flowerpot Cafe's meringue was a total hit for my taste.

The Americano was so good too! I think there might have been some wholegrain mustard in the sandwich, and it was a total flavor match for me.
