Bakery café packed on weekends in Gojan-dong, Ansan: raspberry

In short

Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch is a large bakery café on Gwangdeok 2-ro in Gojan-dong, Ansan, Gyeonggi. The writer stopped by at weekend peak time after a family outing to Ansan Lake Park with her daughter and shared maron campagne, raspberry baguette, walnut cream cheese and anbutter salt bread with a vanilla latte (₩5,800), in a spacious room that was still filled to the last seat. If you pick just one bake at Flowerpot Cafe, make it the tangy-sweet raspberry baguette.

How busy is Flowerpot Cafe at weekend peak time?

I visited Flowerpot Cafe in Gojan-dong, Ansan, during weekend peak time and there were so many people!! It was way bigger and had way more tables than it looked from outside, but even this huge space was fully packed!! Genuinely popular.

But once I tried the bread, it was cheap and really good! There's a restroom inside the café so it's clean, and the whole place felt spotless and had great atmosphere! No wonder it's popular!

But above all, the campagnes (rustic sourdough loaves) come in many varieties and are packed with filling!! Sweet pumpkin, fig, sweet potato, maron — the campagnes are seriously high quality, so I decided to try one. To share with my daughter, I picked the maron campagne, loaded with autumn-season chestnuts!!

Tasting the walnut cream cheese and maron campagne

The walnut cream cheese bread was super crispy and packed with cream cheese, so good. It's different from the walnut cream cheese bread at Paris Baguette or Tous les Jours!! Really crunchy and nutty!! And the maron campagne was incredible, oh my — the moist campagne is completely stuffed with chestnuts inside!

The one to order at Flowerpot Cafe: raspberry baguette

I tried both the raspberry baguette and the garlic baguette — the garlic baguette was exactly that satisfying garlic baguette taste you'd expect! But what I really recommend is the raspberry baguette. Refreshing and sweet without being too sweet, with real tartness too!! If you go to Flowerpot Cafe in Gojan-dong, Ansan, you have to try the raspberry baguette haha.
