Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon at a glance

I went with the kids and something unexpected happened — I was the only one getting attacked. Here's my honest review of Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon.
Every weekend I struggled with where to take the kids. Honestly, the meal-then-café routine gets a bit old. This time I was looking for a Seomyeon date course where we could move our bodies and run around, and I found Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon. The moment I mentioned indoor laser survival, the kids' eyes lit up. It's known as one of the more unique Busan activities among things to do in Seomyeon. It was easy to find too, on the 2nd floor of the Artbox building behind Judy's Taehwa in Seomyeon.
Where is Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon and when is it open?

"Dad, can I really shoot a gun here?"
My kid looked thrilled even before we walked in. Little did I know then that the gun barrels would soon be pointed at me.

Opening hours
From Monday to Saturday it operates from 13:00 to 22:00. On Fridays it stays open until 23:00, and on Sundays it opens at 11:00.

How big is the arena? 150 pyeong of indoor space
Walking inside, it felt like an actual sci-fi movie set. True to its reputation as a Seomyeon activity landmark, it was huge — about 150 pyeong.

Since it's an indoor space, there's no need to worry about the weather, which makes it a perfect Seomyeon date spot all year round. The waiting area was quite spacious and there were plenty of lockers, which made things convenient.

What to wear: comfortable shoes recommended
You can also change into indoor shoes there, so even a rainy day is no problem.

Gun types and prices: regular gun 15,000 won for 2 games
Before starting this realistic survival game with real gear, we got a step-by-step explanation of equipment and rules. There were two types of guns: a regular type and a premium type that has recoil.

The regular gun was ₩15,000 for 2 games, and the premium gun was ₩22,000. You wear a headband and aim through a sight to shoot, and it was really easy to pick up.

The guns at Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon come equipped with a holographic sight, which made it easy for beginners like us to land hits.

What a match at Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon is like
Since it uses lasers instead of actual bullets, the kids could enjoy it safely too. Splitting into teams, hiding behind walls, and running around got me sweating before I knew it.

Actually playing it felt like proper cardio. It's also a great course for couples looking for a unique Seomyeon date. I lost track of time having fun hiding my body and aiming at the other team.

The kids' silent alliance: dad as the only target
As soon as the game started I sensed something was off. Whenever the kids ran into each other, they didn't shoot. But the moment they spotted me, dad, both of them aimed at once. It was a team game, but the kids had formed a silent alliance between themselves.

Even hiding behind walls, the kids chased me down; even running, they chased me. Every time a laser hit, the electric wristband vibrated, and that vibration kept coming from their direction. I never expected to become such a concentrated target for my own kids. That ended up being the real main event of the day at Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon.
Is laser tag a workout? It felt like cardio
With the weekday 3-hour free pass, you can enjoy laser tag with unlimited play for 3 hours straight. Splitting into teams and running around at Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon, before I knew it my back was drenched in sweat. Running to find hiding spots, peeking out from behind walls, ducking to dodge lasers — the whole process itself was a full-body workout.
A real advantage of Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon is that people of all ages and genders can mix and run around together. Kids and adults play under the same conditions, so no one is left out. Of course, becoming the kids' number-one target, like I did, is the exception.

As we left, the kids kept saying "let's come again" all day long. It was a satisfying time for the whole family, full of laughing and running. If you're looking for a Busan activity, this is worth a visit. For a family outing or an indoor date, I'd 100% go back.

Running around with my kids at Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon, I was drenched in sweat before I knew it. This really is one of the unique Busan activities among things to do in Seomyeon. I finished dead last because my own kids kept targeting only me, but when they walked out saying "Dad, let's come again!" — that's the real final verdict on Laser Tag Sports Seomyeon that day. Just you wait, kids!
