Hands Coffee with its Dongchon Resort view: an incredibly good-value brunch set

After I posted about Dongchon Resort last weekend, so many of you asked where this brunch spot with such a great view and lovely atmosphere was.

Honestly, I had gone to Hands Coffee all the time for waffles, but this was completely my first time ordering brunch. The quality was far better than I expected, and I was amazed by how fresh the ingredients were.

And the price was such amazing value that I couldn't help saying how reasonable it was. At trendy cafés these days, one brunch dish can feel like it costs around ₩20,000, but here two brunches come to about ₩25,000. Isn't that unbelievably generous?

A generous brunch, delicious coffee, and even a handmade cookie from the review event—it put me in a good mood from the very start of the weekend morning!
How was it for brunch at Dongchon Resort?

When you get a recommendation for a café near Dongchon Resort, it is often a place with a great view but either pricey brunch or a portion that feels a little lacking. But Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch had it all: view, taste, and value.

It had been my usual Dongchon Resort café for crisp-outside, soft-inside waffles or bingsu (shaved ice), but the brunch menu's substantial set options really caught my eye. With so little price pressure, it was pure great value for a weekend brunch get-together or date.
What did we order in the C Set?

What we ordered was the C Set! They set it out on a two-tier tray, which gives it such a nice feel, right? Haha. I really wanted pasta too, but I have been staying away from flour because of my diet lately, so the light, healthy C Set was absolutely perfect for me.

The jambon sandwich has a slightly spicy house sauce and butter inside, which cuts through any richness while boosting the flavor and whetting your appetite! It is mild yet packed with savory depth.

The vegetables in the chicken salad were so fresh and crisp, as if they had just been picked from the field! Best of all, it came with plenty of chicken breast, making it perfect for getting in some protein. If you are dieting, you have to get this! And Hands Coffee's signature nutty, deep Americano needs no introduction—it was perfect, and an ideal match for the brunch dishes.
The red-brick building and indoor atmosphere

The café exterior itself is a grand, beautiful red-brick building, so it catches your eye immediately even from afar.

Once inside, Hands Coffee's distinctive antique, upscale interior welcomes you. The classic furniture and comfortable sofas always make the space feel warm and relaxing.

Especially if you sit by the window, the blue-green Geumho River and lush trees spread out before you through the full-height windows.

The outdoor terrace and rooftop are also beautifully arranged, making them simply wonderful places to relax in the open air on a nice day. Floors 2 through 4 are all Hands Coffee, and each floor has a different view, which makes every visit feel different!

The unhurried feeling of a weekend morning spent taking in the open view was healing in itself.
Where is it, and what about parking?

Cafés near Dongchon Resort often have a parking battle every weekend, but this Dongchon Resort café, Hands Coffee, has a very spacious dedicated lot, so it is genuinely easy to visit by car. It is up on a hill, so I am leaving the location as well in case anyone is unsure where it is!
