☔ was coming down steadily that day~ after lunch, off for some delicious cake- visiting Forerest, a large café in Uijeongbu! The rain made it even more atmospheric~ Forerest post, let's go!!
What kind of café is Forerest?
This was my second visit, but it already seems to be well-known as one of Uijeongbu's big cafés and dessert spots! Even on a weekday lunch it was buzzing with people~
Forerest has a unique exterior like a small mountain cabin in the woods, but the interior somehow feels comfortable too. At first I was surprised - a café like this, here?! - but it seems like a café that offers a brief escape from the noisy city, a rest among the greenery-

Location, hours, and parking?
- 🟧 Hours: daily 11:00–24:00, open every day
- 🟩 Group seating, parking, high chairs, takeout, pet-friendly
Once you drive into the café grounds, there's a spacious parking lot said to hold more than 50 cars.

A look around Forerest
Walking in through the entrance, a wooden stone bridge greets you, feeling connected to the forest outside~ Oh~ what is this? I was surprised haha. This kind of vibe is totally my thing! haha

High ceilings, wood-toned furniture and sparkling chandeliers combine to give it the feeling of stepping into an elegant, upscale cabin?!
There's a good variety of seating from small tables to group seats, so it looked great for couples, friends, or groups!

Forerest has small seats set into the main space as well as room-like divided spaces. There's a spot with windows looking out onto the green, and a spot that feels as cozy as home, so you find yourself wondering... where should I sit? haha

Window seats on a rainy day
The view outside the window is so soothing~~~ so nice!! Rain just adds even more atmosphere, doesn't it... it's like a picture frame! I wonder how the view changes with the seasons?

Outdoor seating
There's outdoor seating too! Once it gets a bit cooler, the outdoor seats will probably be popular! At night, with the outdoor lighting on, it would be even prettier~~ Good for a date, haha. Ah, those were the days....haha

Forerest menu
They have coffee of course, but I loved that they had so many organic tea options! I can't handle coffee well, so I often order tea - I should try their tea next time! And Forerest's famous cheesecake! It's made in-house and chilled for 16 hours, they say! You absolutely have to try this! Seriously so soft~~

Once your order is ready, you get a KakaoTalk message alert.

🔶My picks🔶
- Ice mocha + decaf (₩7,800)
- Ice flat white (₩6,500)
- Basque cheesecake (₩7,500)
- Chocolate Basque cheesecake (₩8,000)
The cake and drinks on a wooden tray matched the space I was sitting in so well!

Seriously, the softest of the soft! If you come to Forerest, definitely order the Basque cheesecake and try it~

I went for the ultimate sweet-tooth combo haha. Mocha + chocolate Basque cheesecake! haha

The chocolate Basque cheesecake tastes and feels almost like raw chocolate! I ate it so happily. Sweet plus sweet, but not overly so - totally manageable!
The Basque cheesecake! The most classic, standard one - so soft it barely feels like cake. As for the taste, well, need I say more- haha

Good days to visit
Forerest, a large café in Uijeongbu. Full parking, group gatherings possible too. Whether outdoors or indoors, on a sunny day you can enjoy the greenery, and on a rainy day you can soak in that drizzly mood over a cup of tea! Perfect for a date course too~
