Belly fat EMS spa in Yeongtong, Suwon: two 20-minute modes at Xpa
In short
Xpa is Korea's first dedicated EMS spa center, on the 4th floor of Mangpo Plaza in front of Mangpo Station Exit 5 in Yeongtong, Suwon. Worried about growing belly fat, the writer lay in a 40–41°C tub for a 20-minute EMS spa with two modes that send different vibrations to the abdomen, legs and back, and after about 10 minutes the face flushed and the sweat started. Even at only 20 minutes, the body felt light and refreshed in the shower, so Xpa is worth recommending to anyone with no time to exercise.

Today I'm introducing a place in Suwon where 20 minutes of EMS SPA gives you the effect of a full hour of exercise, plus diet results — Suwon spa diet spot Xpa.
What kind of place is Xpa?
Xpa

With my belly fat and weight creeping up lately, and being curious about EMS spa as someone interested in dieting, I booked an EMS spa experience at Xpa right away! You can reserve through Naver.

What is an EMS spa?
EMS spa
It's a new kind of exercise program that combines electrical muscle stimulation with a half-body bath. Depending on the stimulation protocol and water temperature, it's said to build muscle strength, relieve pain, and support weight loss.

A private space of your own where a week's worth of muscle fatigue melts away, plus it boosts blood circulation and calms both body and mind — that's Xpa's EMS spa.

Water temperature: 40–41°C, set when you book
After changing into the provided workout clothes, you get into the tub.

Since everyone feels temperature differently, staff asked about my preferred water temperature when I booked. You can set it to whatever suits your body, and they had it ready at the right temperature by the time I arrived, so the moment I got in, my whole body melted into it. They said they usually set it to 40–41°C.

Review: 20 minutes of EMS spa in two modes
Xpa's 20-minute EMS spa runs in two modes, sending different vibrations to the abdomen, legs, and back. It feels like exercising while lying still in the water, or like getting physical therapy lying down.
I lay there for 20 minutes feeling the EMS spa's pulses. After about 10 minutes my face started flushing and I broke a sweat. Staff prepared water for me to drink during the session, so I stayed hydrated throughout the EMS spa.

Twenty minutes is a short time to call a workout, but even so, my body felt lighter and refreshed while showering afterward.
I definitely felt fat burn off and muscle strength increase — an amazing effect in just 20 minutes 👍🏻 Try Xpa's EMS spa for exercise, better blood circulation, reducing swelling and puffiness, and helping muscles recover after a tough day!
