On a beautiful day, enjoying chestnut bread and coffee on the outdoor terrace, Baedagol Bakery House in Goyang was a lovely space to slow down and just rest a while.

I'd visited Baedagol Bakery House once before with my kid, and even then the spacious layout and outdoor atmosphere left a strong impression. So when the weather cooled down a bit and the sunlight got really nice, and I found myself asking "where should we go for coffee today?" — this place immediately came to mind.

The first floor of Baedagol Bakery House combines the ordering counter with seating, and floor-to-ceiling windows show the outdoor garden, so even indoors it never feels stuffy. The first floor has everything from two-seat tables to large tables for bigger groups.

The second floor was more spacious than I expected too. If the first floor feels more lively, the second floor is a relatively more relaxed place to rest. And the second-floor terrace operates as a no-kids zone.

Last time I mostly used the first floor since I was with my kid, but this time, sitting on the second-floor terrace looking up at the sky, the mood felt completely different. The breeze was cool and the view was open, so just sitting there put me in a good mood.

The chestnut bread I had this time was soft and sweet, and paired really well with the coffee. In the end, it's not just a place with good vibes — it's somewhere you can enjoy both bread and coffee together, which is why I know I'll come back.
