Chinese restaurant near Starfield Hanam for tenderloin tangsuyuk

I heard there's a great spot near Starfield Hanam, so tonight I ran over to O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang, a Hanam Misa favorite 💖

Where is O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang Hanam Misa Main Branch, and is there parking?

O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang Hanam Misa Main Branch is at 616-1 Misa-daero, 1st floor, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do, 979m from Exit 1 of Hanam Pungsan Station. It's open 11:00–21:20 (last order 20:45), and there's a dedicated lot right in front of the store.

This Hanam Misa favorite is a 14-minute walk from Exit 1 of Hanam Pungsan Station, but the building itself is so big it's easy to spot from far away.

You can park at the dedicated lot on the front, side, or rear of the 1st floor, so if you're driving there's zero worry about parking — so convenient!

What the dining room feels like

The interior is clean and spacious, great for dates as well as family gatherings and group dinners. Even though we came during early evening, guests kept streaming in — definitely a certified Hanam Misa favorite!

Menu lineup and how to order

The menu was table order, so you could order comfortably right from your seat. Centered around nurungjitang (crispy rice soup) dishes, it also had tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), chili shrimp, yurinki, palbochae, jeongabok and other Chinese dishes, plus drinks and alcohol.

What we ordered: basic side dishes and the self-serve bar

After ordering, the basic side dishes come out first — a serving robot brought them right over haha. Dongchimi radish, namul, cabbage salad, green onion kimchi, baek kimchi, and even dried radish with squid jeotgal :)

You can freely grab extra side dishes from the self-serve bar, and dessert fruit is ready too, so it's nice to grab some to finish off the meal!

Mini tenderloin tangsuyuk, 20,000 won

Ta-da 💕 The mini tenderloin tangsuyuk came out first — isn't the color just gorgeous? haha

The sauce comes on the side, which is perfect for us dip-eaters!

Made with sweet rice batter, so you really get the crispy-outside, chewy-inside texture haha. Made with tenderloin, so there's no toughness and zero gamey smell — a soft tangsuyuk that goes great paired with the nurungjitang :)

Seafood abalone nurungjitang, 20,000 won: the right amount for two

And then the seafood abalone nurungjitang arrived! It comes out sizzling in a hot stone bowl, so watch your hands — it's really hot ⭐️

The seafood abalone nurungjitang had one whole abalone inside, already fully cleaned so all you have to do is eat — nice. Extra abalone is ₩2,000 per piece! Along with the abalone, it's loaded with shrimp, squid, scallops, baby octopus and more seafood, so there's fun in picking through it all 💕 The seasoning was just right and easy on the stomach, so we ate really well. The portion is generous too — one nurungjitang plus one mini tenderloin tangsuyuk was just the right amount for two of us 👍👍

We finished it off by grabbing some oranges from the self-serve bar and came home completely stuffed haha.

Why this Hanam Chinese restaurant is worth a family return visit

The food was great, and the staff were all so kind that we left in a good mood — O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang Hanam Misa Main Branch. It's a clean, spacious spot, so this time we went just the two of us, but next time I want to bring the whole family! 🙌🙌
