I recently visited Orange Bagel, a bakery café in Suwon, and it was so pretty and so huge that it was such a relief. It's great for an outing now that the weather's turning cool, and it was easy and comfortable to use as a large café.

This place was set up by an owner who genuinely trained in making bagels..! A place that's both huge and guaranteed to taste good, so anyone who visits is bound to love it. I went for an engagement invitation meetup and it was great! I thought all cafés these days looked the same, but this one is unique with its scale and its whole 'Orange Bagel' concept!!

Orange interior from the 1st floor, photo zone included

Orange Bagel is pretty flashy from the moment you walk in on the 1st floor. It's pretty, but also grand — the interior has that resort-tile feel, all decked out in orange! It was especially nice that it's so spacious, and there's a good variety of bagels too.

The bagels aren't that expensive so there's no pressure. There were photo zones scattered around here and there, and mirrors too, so it was great for taking pictures with friends.

What is on the Orange Bagel menu, and how does the café feel?

Among Suwon's bakery cafés, this one mainly sells bagels, with drinks ranging from americano and beyond. There are orange-themed menu items too, which was fun! The staff even wear orange-colored clothes lol. Something about the hip vibe made it even better.

The orange color really catches your eye, and the interior was exactly my style! The music was hip and there were so many people it was almost surreal. The bagels were chewy and delicious even without toasting. Each floor has a different concept — it genuinely felt like being in New York.

Order on the 1st floor, sit on either floor

Orange Bagel had this well organized. You order on the 1st floor and can drink your coffee on either the 1st or 2nd floor — the space is large and the seating varied, so there was nothing to worry about. I hate it when a spot feels too cramped for an engagement invite meetup, but the space here was just right.

Some people ate their bagels there, but a lot of people just took them to go, which made me think this place must be a genuinely legit spot.

Choosing bagels to box up before they sold out

There were so many kinds of bagels that, as a bonus, I boxed some up to take home too. You can box things up after having coffee too, but I was worried they'd sell out, so haha, I chose ahead of time.

Orange Bagel is near Omokcheon and Topdong in Suwon, so it's easy to reach from anywhere, and apparently a lot of people come from the Hwaseong area too. If you like bagels, you really have to come here.. the variety here is different from anywhere else!!!

How the Laugen bagel and blueberry bagel tasted

These are the bagels I brought home. The variety is huge! My favorite is the Laugen bagel — the butter is out of this world. Suwon's bakery cafés have such a wide bagel selection that it's great for buying several kinds, and perfect for gifting to a friend too!

The blueberry one was clean and light, which I liked too. I gave the blueberry one to my mom and ate the whole Laugen one myself haha. I ate it at home and, as expected, Laugen was the best... the butter flavor was so sweet that I just kept eating it endlessly.

The orange box: good for gifting too

The box being orange-colored made it even better. Definitely top-tier among Suwon's bakery cafés!! My friends at the engagement invite meetup all said the café was pretty and asked if a place like this really existed, and everyone loved it haha.

The café itself is great, but the concept is unique too, with that resort-tile feel,, and the box is perfect for gifting — they have every variety ready to go depending on how many you're buying, so you just have to show up empty-handed haha.

Parking, side menus, and is Orange Bagel worth a return visit?

The owner's genuine dedication to the bagels made it even better, and Orange Bagel was full of concept. Compared to other bagel cafés, it's tastier and chewier, which seems to be why so many people come back again and again.

The parking lot is spacious too, and I came away really feeling the essence of what a proper bagel should be, so I'd definitely go again!! There's soup and various other side menu items, so it's good to go instead of a regular meal too. The eating spaces were nicely divided up, and Orange Bagel itself is so famous that it seems like everyone loves it.

Orange Bagel was so good. The engagement invite meetup was a huge success,,, and it's also a perfect weekend date course. Great for people bringing kids to a café too. The 2nd floor space was really well done.

Gotta diet hard this month too.....
