Granola-bottomed chocolate soft serve at a Seongdong café: Mellows
In short
Mellows is a soft serve café in Seongdong, Seoul, a 5-minute walk from Ttukseom Station Exit 7, between Seongsu and Seoul Forest. Seated on the wood-toned outdoor terrace of its red-brick building, the writer tried chocolate soft serve made with Sangha Farm milk and the seasonal peach soft serve, with crunchy granola lining the bottom of the basic-line cups. Indoor seating is limited to four seats, so the terrace or takeout is the way to go.

A red-brick façade, 5 minutes from Ttukseom Station Exit 7
I was looking for a dessert spot near Ttukseom Station and came across Mellows, a Seongsu café! It's about a 5-minute walk from Ttukseom Station Exit 7, right in that stretch between Seongsu and Seoul Forest that's perfect for stopping by during a walk. From far away, the red-brick building and wood-toned outdoor terrace already gave off strong European vibes — this looks like a great photo spot! — so I hurried over.
Mellows' terrace and interior

The outdoor terrace, full of that European feel, was perfect for sitting in the noticeably cooler weather. It had that relaxed, laid-back yet hip vibe unique to the Seongsu–Seoul Forest area, making Mellows a great dessert café near Ttukseom to just hang out at.

Got a photo taken at the entrance too — now let's head inside!

The interior was cozy and clean. The owner greeted us so kindly that I walked in feeling great.

How many seats are inside?
Inside this dessert café near Ttukseom Station, there are 2 round tables and 2 window bar seats — 4 seats in total! It felt like the outdoor terrace is better suited for groups, and since this place mainly sells ice cream, taking it to go and eating while strolling around Seongsu and Seoul Forest worked well too.

It was still a bit warm on the day I visited, so I grabbed a seat by the big, clean window and watched dogs on walks and people passing by.
Mellows' menu

- ✔️Chocolate soft serve
- ✔️Peach soft serve
- ✔️Vanilla latte
True to its reputation as a soft serve spot, the menu had a wide variety of ice cream compositions and flavors. Soft serve made with Sangha Farm milk simply can't taste bad haha.

They also serve cocktails, simple snacks, and beer in the evening as part of an evening menu, so it's a great place to grab a light drink on the terrace with a pub-like vibe.

It was also convenient that you can order each ice cream and menu item through the kiosk, referring to actual photos of the food.

Chocolate soft serve with granola at the bottom
Here's the chocolate ice cream and peach ice cream we ordered! Just from the visible texture, you can already tell it's soft...!!!

Every soft serve in the basic line comes with granola lining the bottom of the cup. The crunchy granola topping added a fun texture and paired well with the chocolate syrup.

The ice cream itself isn't chocolate-flavored — it's Sangha Farm milk ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup, so you get to enjoy two flavors at once.

Seasonal peach soft serve
The seasonal peach soft serve ❤️ Pretty, delicious, does it all..!! I'm honestly not much of a peach person and almost went with mango or strawberry instead, but I picked peach since it's in season — and my eyes lit up. So glad I went with peach!!

The peach flesh itself was sweet yet refreshing, and blended with the soft, sweet flavor of the soft serve for a fresh feeling in the mouth. A different kind of sweetness from the chocolate — a pleasant, sweet peach.

On top of that, the coffee is really good, and the prices are genuinely reasonable compared to other cafés around Seongsu, Seoul Forest, and Ttukseom, so it's easy to come and enjoy without worrying about your wallet — a great dessert café near Ttukseom.

At Mellows, a café-slash-bar in Seongsu, sit out on the terrace with sweet soft serve alongside wine, highballs, and cocktails, and really soak in that European vibe!
