Half-and-half pizza and self-tap beer at Dangsan bar Long Time No See

This is a pizza place right in front of my friend's house, so I've been going here for ages! Since it's near her place, I keep coming back whenever I think of it — but honestly, the main reason is that the vibe is so good for hanging out with a friend.

The atmosphere at Long Time No See Dangsan Branch, near Dangsan Station

They use the whole 2nd and 3rd floor!

Cute even on the way up the stairs haha. Long Time No See Dangsan Branch isn't so quiet that you have to whisper, but it's not chaotically loud either. It's got that pleasantly buzzing kind of noise level?

So it's great for sitting and talking with a friend, and quite a few people come here on dates too. It's the kind of place with a good vibe for pizza and a beer, so it works well for an evening visit.

Half-and-half pizza: Long Time No See Pizza + You and My Story

This is one of those places I naturally think of whenever I meet this particular friend. I've tried several of the pizzas here, and this time I went with half-and-half again — getting two flavors on one pie means I always end up greedy and order half-and-half, haha. This time I picked Long Time No See Pizza and You and My Story. Yes, that's really the menu name — 'You and My Story.'

Ahhhh ❤️ Eating two kinds of pizza at once is fun because you get to compare the flavors, and it's also a good option when you and your friend want different pizzas.

I've tried a bunch of things here already, so I ordered without hesitation this time too — and as always, pizza and beer was a great combo.

Self-tap beer poured yourself with a key

Here's the fun part about drinking beer at Long Time No See — they give you a key, haha. It looks kind of like a locker key from a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) or gym. Instead of ordering a beer separately, you find the one you want and hold the key up to it yourself. Picking and pouring your own beer is oddly fun.

At first you might think pouring it yourself sounds tricky, but once you try it, it's simpler than expected. There was also one thoughtful detail I really liked — if too much foam comes out while pouring, you press the bell shown in the photo and a staff member comes over to help you pour again.

With a self-serve system like this, it's easy to get flustered by too much foam the first time, but it was great being able to get help right away. Too much foam? Just press the bell haha. Well thought out ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Having pizza and beer together on the table really set the mood, and it was great for spending time chatting with a friend. Personally, I prefer places where you can sit and talk over a leisurely meal rather than eat something tasty and rush out, and in that sense Long Time No See Dangsan Branch suits me well.

Good for a friend hangout or a date?

It seems great both for casually meeting a friend and as a date spot! I actually saw a lot of people who seemed to be on dates, and the place itself doesn't feel too heavy, so it's easy for first-timers to walk in and feel comfortable. If you're looking for a pizza place near Dangsan Station, or a beer spot near Dangsan Station where you can also enjoy pizza, this is worth a visit.

I started coming here mainly because it's right by my friend's house, but I think there's a real reason I keep coming back. You can try several kinds of pizza, pouring your own beer is fun, and above all I love the relaxed atmosphere for chatting with a friend. I was super satisfied with the pizza I picked this time too!
