Late-night dinner in Euljiro3-ga: charcoal octopus at Pyu Euljiro
In short
Pyu Euljiro is a 70-pyeong (about 230 m²) contemporary dining restaurant on the ground floor of Tower107 in Jung-gu, Seoul, a 5-minute walk from Euljiro3-ga Station. On a late-night visit, dinner at Pyu Euljiro was charcoal-grilled octopus with romesco and garden tomato risotto, with two glasses of Cheongdamdong Myeonuri craft beer. The cooking is mild rather than heavy-handed, letting the ingredients speak, and the building's underground lot gives 1 hour of free parking, so it works as a date spot even if you drive.

Finding Tower107, 5 minutes on foot from Euljiro3-ga Station
Pyu Euljiro is just a 5-minute walk from Euljiro3-ga Station! Parking is often hard to find in the Euljiro commercial district, so being able to park without any stress makes this a great spot to visit whether by transit or by car.

Pyu Euljiro is located on the 1st floor of the Tower107 building — walking in to a building atmosphere like a spacious hotel lounge already put me in a good mood.

Inside the 70-pyeong dining room and its private seats
Pyu Euljiro is a large, 70-pyeong contemporary dining space — I fell for the open layout and stylish interior...

The center table in the main hall looked lovely and seemed like a great spot for group gatherings too.

I really liked the space — upscale, but never heavy or uncomfortable. Further inside there are more seats, plus private seating sectioned off with partitions.
The table spacing was just right, and the lighting was softly beautiful — I'd strongly recommend this as a Euljiro blind-date restaurant too...

Pyu Euljiro menu: the two-person share set and the dinner drink rule
They had separate menus for food and drinks, which made things easy to look through.

From pastas to risottos to steaks, there was a wide range of dishes — the well-rounded 2-person share set that lets you try several dishes looked good too.

The visuals looked so upscale, like hotel cuisine... These weren't your typical Western restaurant pasta and steak dishes, but menus with Pyu Euljiro's own distinct character, which I loved.

An alcoholic drink order is required when dining at dinner at Pyu Euljiro — but you can order to your taste from a variety of wines, craft beers, and even non-alcoholic drinks. Beyond alcohol, they also have blended teas and coffee, so you can use it as a café after your meal too.
What we ordered at Pyu Euljiro, and an honest review
We ordered charcoal octopus with romesco, garden tomato risotto, and two glasses of Cheongdamdong Myeonuri craft beer. Since we had a reservation, they were thoughtful enough to prepare a name card for our table!

I visited late at night, but thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy a lush green view in the morning, or a sunset view at dusk.

Cheongdamdong Myeonuri craft beer
Cheongdamdong Myeonuri ('Cheongdam-dong Daughter-in-law') craft beer, which apparently won 28 titles at an international beer competition. I'd been curious about it since it's so famous, and turns out Pyu Euljiro has it.

It was a clean, light beer with a nutty flavor and a subtle caramel-cookie aroma. I usually pair Western food with wine, but Cheongdamdong Myeonuri went really well with it too.

Charcoal-grilled octopus with romesco
Charcoal octopus with romesco — the visuals alone were a work of art. Plump octopus grilled over charcoal with romesco sauce, wood ear mushroom, and a crispy topping for texture — everything came together in perfect harmony.

This was my first time having romesco sauce, so I asked the staff — they told me it's a spicy Spanish sauce based on paprika and nuts. I was a bit worried since they said it could be spicy, but for a spice wimp like me, it wasn't spicy at all? It was just incredibly good, so you have to order this one...

The octopus wasn't too chewy — springy and tender, with a subtle but proper smoky char that was insane... The sauce paired perfectly with the octopus too, so I scraped the plate clean.

It was genuinely so delicious that this is turning into a wall of text... just go try it haha

Garden tomato risotto
The garden tomato risotto is a tomato-based risotto with roasted vegetables like zucchini, eggplant, and cherry tomatoes, plus cheese.

It wasn't the heavy, greasy risotto you find at a typical Western restaurant. It had such a fresh flavor that really let the ingredients' own taste shine! Every single roasted vegetable was delicious, and with the olive oil aroma and the popping texture of the barley, it wasn't overpowering but had such good umami that I kept eating spoonful after spoonful.

Cheers—

The cheese on top of the risotto was also so good. Overall, Pyu Euljiro's dishes achieve an upscale flavor by drawing out the ingredients' natural character, without heavy technique or overpowering seasoning. It's a healthy, clean flavor that's never greasy! The kind you eat without craving pickles on the side, savoring every bite down to the last.

Verdict: is Pyu Euljiro worth it for a Euljiro date night?
Pyu Euljiro, a hidden-gem restaurant in Euljiro. A clean atmosphere paired with upscale food — a place any woman couldn't help but love... Guys who want to score points, take note. A tasteful meal at Pyu Euljiro followed by a drink at a hip Euljiro bar makes for the perfect date course that'll win any woman's heart haha.

From dates to blind dates to wedding-invitation gatherings, I highly recommend Pyu Euljiro. It feels like the kind of place you'll return to whenever you need a break from a hectic everyday life, or some healing with good company on a special day.
