Suwon Korean restaurant for dinner soju and pork bone soup: Eolkeunhan
In short
Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a pork bone soup and gukbap (rice soup) restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon, right in front of Suwon City Hall Station Exit 6. The writer and her partner had dinner there with regular-spice seonji haejangguk, spicy ppyeo haejangguk, and a bottle of Jinro soju, and loved picking the meat off the 4 bone pieces and dipping it in the spicy broth. It's open 24 hours except Tuesday and Wednesday and even gives out free ice cream for dessert, making it an easy spot for a solo meal with a drink.

Hi, this is Myoungmyoung haha~ As the weather's been warming up lately, I keep craving haejangguk (hangover soup) and gukbap, don't you?~?~? I was looking for somewhere to have haejangguk for dinner in Ingye-dong with my partner and found a really delicious spot 🤭 Let me tell you about Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch :)
Location and parking at Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch
It's located in Ingye-dong, so you can come out Exit 6 of Suwon City Hall Station, or get off at the Newcore Outlet bus stop — either way it's right there +___+

The exterior looked exactly like a great ppyeo haejangguk restaurant should, and it was super clean!! There were all kinds of menu info stuck up around the entrance haha. Parking is free for 2 hours in the underground lot behind the building 🚘

Interior seating and 24-hour hours
Once I went inside it was pretty spacious with lots of seats, so it looked good for going with a group and also comfortable for eating solo! Just so you know, the hours are long — open 24 hours except Tuesday and Wednesday 🤭

What we ordered — regular seonji haejangguk, spicy ppyeo haejangguk, Jinro soju
You order using a tablet~~!! Ppyeo haejangguk (pork bone soup) was basically the main dish, but there was also a bone hot pot, bone udon, and lots of other delicious-sounding options ❣️
- Seonji Haejangguk (regular spice) ₩11,000
- Ppyeo Haejangguk (spicy) ₩11,000
- Jinro soju ₩4,000
This is what we ordered ^_____^❤️ Both my partner and I were craving gukbap, so we got seonji haejangguk and ppyeo haejangguk hahaha

Oh, and I noticed this on the way in — apparently you get one free ice cream per person?! I was even surprised that it wasn't some cheap brand, but actually decent stuff like Screwbar and Melona lol 🤪

The basic side dishes were kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), pickled onions, chili peppers, and more, and if you need more you can grab it from the self-serve bar!!! The side dishes were all tasty too >___<

There was even a sign on the wall saying they boil the bones fresh every day and use them up the same day, which made me trust the place even more 👍🏻

How was the regular-spice seonji haejangguk
Before long the dishes arrived ✨ First let's look at the seonji haejangguk my partner ordered!! It was bubbling away and smelled amazing haha

You can see it's packed with ugeoji (dried napa cabbage leaves), right?!? There were bean sprouts in there too, and the ingredients were super generous haha

The seonji (blood cake) pieces were huge and there was gopchang (beef intestine) in there too~~~ I stole a bite and the broth was really clean-tasting — I feel like this is exactly the spot for anyone looking for a solo-dining Korean food place in Ingye-dong >__<

Spicy ppyeo haejangguk — heat level and the 4 bone pieces
And now my ppyeo haejangguk ✨ The look of it was seriously amazing haha. Here you can choose the spice level for the pork bone soup, and I got the spicy version — the color of the broth alone was next-level!

You can totally see how red it is right!?!? They said it's about buldak (fire chicken) spicy, and tasting the broth first, it really was noticeably spicier than other ppyeo haejangguk places!! Totally my style hahaha

Then I pulled the bones out to eat and there were 4 pieces of bone in total 😮 I was impressed there were that many even if they were on the smaller side,,, I'm the type who always picks all the meat off ppyeo haejangguk bones before eating, so I carefully cleaned every bit off. Took a bite and the meat was so tender and delicious >__<

I dipped it in the broth and ate it that way, and the spicy broth with the meat was such a great combination!! Total confirmed Ingye-dong gukbap restaurant 👍🏻❤️

Dessert ice cream and final thoughts
On the way out, they'd thoughtfully set out ice cream, which was great as a dessert ^_____^ Grabbed a Nugabar to finish off my meal 🤭 Takeout is available and it's open 24 hours, so if you're looking for a solo-dining spot in Ingye-dong, this is a great pick!!
It had been a while since I'd had ppyeo haejangguk, and the spicy broth was totally my style — perfect for a hangover cure and a drink with dinner lol. If you're looking for a gukbap restaurant or ppyeo haejangguk restaurant in Ingye-dong, I recommend Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch ^____^
