Gangnam restaurant for corn cream gnocchi and steak: Brivit

Getting to Brivit from Gangnam and Sinnonhyeon Stations

Brivit Gangnam Station is near Exit 6 of Sinnonhyeon Station and Exits 11 and 12 of Gangnam Station, so it is very easy to get to! I had plans to drink with a friend in Gangnam, so we came for food first to protect our stomachs before drinking ^0^ I found Brivit while searching on Naver, and came because the food looked pretty + reasonably priced.

Brivit Gangnam Station was easy to spot thanks to its pink exterior, but Gangnam's signature hills made things hard for me... Our meeting time overlapped with rush hour, so rush hour + the subway was absolute hell... 🫠

Even the photos on the sign by the entrance got me excited... 💛 On a weekday evening, Brivit Gangnam Station was nearly full—enough that there might or might not be a wait! Everyone in your party has to arrive before you can be seated, so if you hate waiting, I recommend reserving ahead.!

A stylish dining room and window seats

Brivit Gangnam Station felt stylish from the outside, and the dining room was just as lovely. The bright wood-toned interior blended naturally with the green around the kitchen; it had a bit of a European café feel, and honestly, it is exactly the kind of atmosphere people who love Instagram-worthy spots would visit, haha.

Further inside, there was also an indoor area with an outdoor-terrace kind of feel!! It was completely full inside, so I could not bring myself to take a photo,,, haha. I sat by the entrance at a window seat that opens up!! I snagged the perfect window seat for weather like this 😗

There was a self-service bar toward the back of the restaurant too! It had a charging spot, wet wipes, paper cups, and pickles :)”

What we ordered and the prices

The menu was written in text only, so I chose from the Naver menu instead!! Naver had photos, which made it easier to choose, haha. If you need photos to decide, check Naver. Once you have chosen everything, ring the bell—it is cute + funny lol.

How was the scallion cream corn gnocchi?

The scallion cream corn gnocchi came out first. It was topped with whole corn, and crushed red pepper? was sprinkled over it so it did not feel too rich—the balance was so good!!! The gnocchi was also honestly among the best I have had. It was wonderfully chewy in that signature gnocchi way, with a nutty potato flavor—seriously, seriously delicious!!

If I had to pick just one disappointing thing, there was way too little sauce,,, ㅠㅡㅠ There was so little sauce that the gnocchi ended up left over...? That kind of ratio 🥲

It was really, really delicious,,, None of the dishes were that expensive either, so it seems like a great spot for a pre-wedding gathering, and I highly, highly recommend it for a first date!!!

The ₩37,900 signature steak

Would you believe that steak in Gangnam is in the ₩30,000 range..? Such great value, truly..! The meat was not tough and was cooked just right. It had moisture + juices + tenderness all covered!

Brivit's steak is sous-vide flat iron steak with red wine sauce, which went so well with the steak's meaty flavor! They even sprinkle cheese over it, making this Brivit signature steak even more flavorful 👍🔥 They sprinkled the cheese right as the steak arrived, so it was fun to watch too—filming a video was a must lol.

There was plenty of steak sauce, plus garlic, mushrooms, garlic chives, and cherry tomatoes to eat alongside the meat!! The garlic chives were seriously delicious 👍👏

Italian-style food by the window in Gangnam

Sitting at the window seat, it was so nice to eat while catching the gentle breeze!! Brivit Gangnam Station had so many dishes that looked delicious that it was hard to choose,,,!! I would definitely come back next time :) 👍👍👍
