Facial for dry, sensitive skin in Suyeong, Busan: Obio Esthetic
In short
Obio Esthetic Suyeong Branch is a 1:1 private skin care studio on Yeonsu-ro in Suyeong-gu, Busan. During the consultation for dry, sensitive, trouble-prone and pigmented skin, the writer learned that double cleansing with a foaming cleanser was the real cause of hidden dryness, then had the recommended ReBeLook treatment, from cleansing and a hydrating ampoule through to a mask pack and oxygen dome LED finish. After a single session at Obio Esthetic, skin tone looked brighter and glowier and makeup sat much more smoothly.

With the change of seasons and hormones making my skin sensitive, I'd been struggling with breakouts and scarring, so I went to check out Obio Esthetic — let me introduce it right away.

How does the consultation at Obio Esthetic work?
At Obio Esthetic you fill out a checklist before the treatment — skin care history, current medications, medical history, skin concerns, and even your home care routine.
They go through your cleansing habits, what toner, ampoule, essence, and cream you use and how, and what your skin type is like, all in detail — then recommend the treatment that fits your skin!!
My skin type: dry, sensitive and pigmented
First, about my skin type: dry + sensitive + trouble-prone + pigmented 😢
For the past 2-3 years, especially when winter comes — anyone with dry skin will relate — my skin totally flares up, and melanin comes out to protect the skin, which leaves scars behind for a long time, a vicious cycle. No matter how good the products I used or how many dermatologists I visited, the root cause never got fixed, which was extremely stressful. But this consultation taught me something.
Why cleansing habits matter more than you think 🚿
In the consultation, they told me the cleansing method that fits my skin type. I'd always been double cleansing.
- On days with heavy makeup: cleansing oil + foaming cleanser
- On days with light makeup: cleansing milk + foaming cleanser
- Or cleansing balm + foaming cleanser
- Twice a week: exfoliant and sebum-softening product
I'd always followed double cleansing with a foaming cleanser as a must — but foaming cleansers contain surfactants that strip away even the beneficial stuff, which actually irritates the skin more and was the cause of my barrier damage and hidden dryness... ㅜ
As is typical for Koreans, I preferred that squeaky-clean finish, and on breakout days I'd cleanse even harder, repeating the vicious cycle, ugh... But actually, cleansing water or cleansing milk is enough on its own! Now I know to protect my dry skin's barrier ✨
They said exactly what my skin type needed was "ReBeLook," so I went straight in for the treatment.

Inside Obio Esthetic: the private treatment rooms
Inside Obio Esthetic Suyeong Branch, since it's a 1:1 private space, the atmosphere was really clean and cozy, comfortable and nice. It genuinely felt like getting proper skin care !! 🙊

All the specialized equipment and the tidy interior made it feel trustworthy. It was raining hard that day so my pants got soaked, and they gave me a disposable gown, checked if I was too cold or too hot, and I got properly cared for on a warm heated mat 🤍

What is the ReBeLook treatment?
ReBeLook is said to be a premium skin care program that boosts the skin's own regenerative ability, improving elasticity, texture, pores, fine lines, and tone all together. It's not just about hydration — it's described as an anti-aging care that creates a healthier environment inside the skin, so you can expect firmer, smoother skin over time.
✨ Skin tone and elasticity + pore care in one treatment = ReBeLook ✨

In one corner there was a row of empty ReBeLook ampoule bottles — these ampoules apparently contain high concentrations of active ingredients that help with intensive care and give skin a light-filled look.
Key ingredients in ReBeLook
- ✔ PDRN — promotes regeneration of damaged skin, strengthens the skin barrier, improves elasticity and recovery
- ✔ Hyaluronic acid — deep hydration, strengthens moisture retention, expresses dewy, healthy skin
- ✔ Peptide complex — promotes collagen production, strengthens elasticity, improves fine lines, boosts skin density
- ✔ Amino acid & vitamin complex — nourishes skin, improves skin condition, completes a clear, vibrant skin tone
The ReBeLook treatment, step by step
Obio Esthetic's ReBeLook treatment starts with cleansing. Then a machine applies a hydrating ampoule, followed by focused ReBeLook care. It finishes with a mask pack & oxygen dome LED ✨
Before and after one ReBeLook session

I could clearly feel my skin tone brighten and start glowing. Since I have pigmented, scarred skin it usually looks duller and my skin is sensitive, but the tone visibly improved and I really felt the moisture and nourishment. It was amazing that one treatment could do this.

After the finishing care, I looked in the mirror and was amazed at how noticeably glowy my skin was.
Who the ReBeLook treatment suits best
- Those whose skin elasticity has declined
- Those concerned about enlarged pores and rough texture
- Those bothered by fine lines and aging
- Those wanting to improve a dull skin tone
- Those who want naturally healthy, glowing skin

Home care advice and the cushion foundation recommended
After the treatment, Obio Esthetic explained aftercare precautions, and even recommended a cushion foundation that won't clog pores, taking some pressure off cleansing ✨🙊

It's the Bemontes cushion. I'm thinking of switching to it myself 🥺 ReBeLook not only adds hydration and glow to the skin right after treatment, but over time regeneration happens inside the skin too, so you can expect texture, elasticity, and pore improvement together — meaning the more consistently you receive it, the more stable and healthy your skin condition becomes, helping with long-term improvement.

When I got home and checked my skin, it was clearly glowing and my tone had cleared up. I felt like getting it consistently would work even better. Most of all, my makeup really sits smoothly now 👍 Since it even keeps pores from being clogged, I think it's a great treatment and I want to get it several more times 🙊➰
