8 pm yacht tour with Moscato, Yeongdeungpo: Sailing Paradise

Indoor dates with my boyfriend are lovely too, but sometimes I want to spend a slightly more special time outdoors. So this time, we went on a romantic yacht tour with Sailing Paradise at Yeouido Hangang Park. I was so happy with it because we could enjoy the Han River sunset, night views, and even the Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain all at once!

We booked the weekday 8 pm slot! Since the sun sets late in summer, it is such a great time to catch the sunset and then enjoy the Han River night views after dark—I really recommend it.

If you are driving, Sailing Paradise is closest to Yeouido Parking Lot 1!

After booking, you need to complete a boarding consent form, so it is best to arrive 20 minutes early.

A romantic yacht tour and a two-story yacht upgrade

Luckily, on the day I visited, we were upgraded to a two-story yacht called Sso Day! It was much larger and more luxurious than I expected just from the outside, so I was even more excited 🫶

What is on the first floor?

The first-floor cabin had sofas and tables, making it a comfortable place to relax, and the inner space was kept very neat.

There is also a restroom inside on the first floor, so do not worry!

Open second-floor views of the Han River

The second floor, meanwhile, is wide open on all sides, making it the best place to take in the Han River. There were about three groups on board including us, and most people were up on the second floor enjoying the view!

Once on board, each person gets one Moscato wine and one cracker. The wine was sweet, and the snack was a truffle-flavored cracker—so, so, so delicious!!!!!

Setting off as sunset turns into Han River night views

Finally, we set off! I was already fluttering with excitement as if I were on a trip 🤍 After we departed, the captain told us stories about the Han River and the yacht, and having those explanations made it even more fun.

There was still some sunset left when we set off, but before long it began to grow dark. From that moment, the mood changed completely!! Seoul’s night views from the Han River were much prettier than I expected, and the cool breeze made it such a healing time.. 🕊️🤍

The front of the yacht in particular was a wonderful photo spot, so we were able to take lots of couple photos too! 📸🤍

The Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain from the yacht

After traveling by yacht for around 30 minutes, we arrived near Banpo Bridge. We were lucky that it lined up with the Rainbow Fountain operating time, so we could watch the fountain show from the yacht!!

It felt completely different from seeing it from far away. Floating on the Han River while looking at the fountain up close was such a special experience, and the photos came out beautifully too, so I just zoned out and watched.

How satisfied I felt back at Yeouido Hangang Park

I go to the Han River often, but it was my first time riding a yacht, and I was far more satisfied than I expected!! For ₩30,000–₩40,000 per person, we could enjoy wine, simple refreshments, Han River night views, and the Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain, so it felt like excellent value too.

I would recommend this course not only for special days like anniversaries or birthdays, but also whenever you need a change of pace 🥂🌃🤍 It was a time when I could feel a different charm of the Han River I usually see.
