Hi, this is Ritto. 🥩🥩 The weekend goes by so fast, and once it's Monday again, I think you need a hearty meal to get through another week. An all-you-can-eat meat buffet where you skip the rice is basically a diet-friendly emperor's diet, right??

Interior of the all-you-can-eat pork BBQ restaurant in Millak-dong, Uijeongbu

There's an all-you-can-eat BBQ chain with multiple branches that I'd been curious about, and this one offers 6 kinds of beef brisket daepae plus free ramen and self-serve fried rice, which seemed great for a family meal.

It's Muhan Paldo Daepae Uijeongbu Millak Branch, apparently well known as an Uijeongbu favorite where you're guaranteed a wait during dinner or lunch peak hours.

I just happened to walk by, but it already seemed like a well-known local spot for meals. I visited late in the day, and the staff still greeted me kindly, which made the meal comfortable.

How much is the buffet at Muhan Paldo Daepae? 18,900 won per adult

The all-you-can-eat menu is a single item, but the price varies a bit by age. Age 10 and up counts as adult, at ₩18,900 per person for the premium unlimited daepae.

👶🏻👶🏻 The kids-only unlimited daepae is ₩10,900 for ages 8–10, and ₩8,900 for ages 5–7. The self-serve bar has sausages, dinner rolls, and other kid-friendly options too, which I liked.

You can also add hot pot rice separately, while plain rice is available as much as you want at the self-serve bar. Doenjang (soybean paste) stew and the bombed egg custard are extras you can order from the menu.

Unlimited soju for 5,900 won, with 2,000 won self-serve drinks

Another thing that felt convenient: drinks and alcohol are also self-serve, where you just grab and refill. For those who like a drink, here's a useful bit of info — unlimited soju is ₩5,900 per person.

At ₩3,000 a bottle, unlimited is a deal if you drink more than two bottles! For drinks, there was a good mix of zero-sugar and regular options, all reasonably priced at ₩2,000, which I liked.

🍑🍑 I'd always been curious about Lipton Zero Ice Tea, so I ordered one and tried it — refreshing and tasty. Recommended :)

The round bowl at each seat is for the meat, and the tray underneath is for carrying all your side dishes at once.

Six cuts of shaved pork and the lettuce wrap corner

Back to the main event — I headed to the meat corner. Honestly, I thought daepae only came in beef brisket, so I was surprised there were so many varieties. The quality is good, and since it cooks fast, it's easy to go back for more.

There are 6 kinds: daepae pork belly, daepae pork neck, flower pork belly, frozen pork belly, Korean daepae, and beef brisket daepae. I picked frozen pork belly and beef brisket daepae to grill, and the pan conducted heat well, so it preheated quickly.

After turning on the burner, while my partner grilled, I went to check out the side dishes. The lettuce wrap greens were fresh — perilla leaves, lettuce, and more — and the shredded green onion and vinegar-chili sauce, an essential pairing, were well stocked.

There was seasoned bean sprouts, great for self-serve fried rice, kimchi that's perfect for grilling, and pink sausages — my eyes were popping before I'd even eaten. Grilled pink sausage is just so good :)

The 8-province sauce bar: why I chose myeoljeot (salted anchovy dip)

In the back there's a sauce bar where you can taste a representative sauce from each of Korea's 8 provinces, one by one, which is fun. I couldn't skip myeoljeot (fermented anchovy sauce), so I scooped some up — felt like I was transported to Jeju Island.

The Hangang ramen machine: one button and your ramen is ready

There were way more types of Hangang ramen than I expected, and I wanted to try them all, but nothing's worse than leftover food, so I picked just one to enjoy. My pick was Jin Ramen Spicy.

You put everything in the pot, press the button, and it cooks on its own — super convenient, and it frees you up to go grab other things in the meantime. Efficient!

Bomb egg custard, plus free slush and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes)

Back at the table, I grilled away and tasted the meat — wow, the nuttiness was on another level. The egg custard I ordered extra was true to its name, 'bombed egg custard' — a huge portion and rice-stealing good.

There's also free slush and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), great for snacking while you wait for meat to grill. No wonder kids go crazy for this place.

Why the playroom at Muhan Paldo Daepae has a live screen

It doesn't stop there — there's a playroom, so parents can eat while their kids play on their own, which is a huge relief. For safety, there's even a screen so you can check on the playroom while you eat.

You can tell every detail was thought through at Muhan Paldo Daepae Uijeongbu Millak Branch — highly recommended.
